WertyRO Posted January 7, 2015 Share Posted January 7, 2015 (edited) They don't need to use the Steam version in order to: - take screenshots - test the game or the editor - or do whatever else developing related, nor for news. R* have their own testing PCs with some kind of scripts to set the scene up in order to make the screenshots. I STRONGLY believe that Steam would even crash their scripts who help them take screenshots, as they use developer tools and the Steam version is created for the players. Calm down, imo they assigned at least 20 testers for the PC version who test the game daily. SOME of them use the Steam version, just to test achievements or something Steam related. I hope some of you got it and may stop with all those unuseful posts in the Steam thread : "5 in game, they are making SSs, trailers and tortillas!" Adelthorne Posted January 7, 2015 Share Posted January 7, 2015 Well Im cant play my GTA IV through steam, I have to launch the game outside Steam to get i worked. And I hope they done a better work with GTA V, but Im use to when it comes to R-star I have to find a solution outside the box. So im counting on to have to do this with GTA V also.
