Hello guys,

 

Im making a YouTube guide on modding GTA SA and I thought it would be useful for you to know that I cover how to make mods with this tool.

Sorry if this sounds a bit ad-like, i don't run ads on my tutorials, but if you want to remove this then no worries.

I've tested this mod with navetsea skins with normalmap texture and I can't find any bump effects or extra lighting.

Managed to get this working on buildings and roads, but the lighting gets messed up and it looks pretty bad. If there was a way to fix this problem, I'll try to implement it onto a texture mod.

 

-Tried Silentpatch shader nvc, didn't work

-Tried perpixellighting.cs, didn't work but at certain in-game time it looked somewhat okay-ish. Might be usable for SA-MP.

DK says he will update nm plugin, imfx, invehft and sse soon. But now he is working on plugin SDK.

it would be stupid to fill up whole map with these ponds,I was just testing to see how it will look

I know this doesn't officially support normal maps on buildings but can't figure out what I'm doing wrong. Got back into modding but still very rusty, whenever I apply normal maps to a dff it loses its textures. Everything is textured fine when I remove the plugin. I downloaded a building mod to compare and that works with normal maps. Hopefully someone can help me out. Thanks

Game crashes when used with ped spec. Is it not compatible?

It sort of is and sort of isn't. For me it'll crash with pedspec whenever a cutscene object is normalmapped or animated objects like the parachute are used.

Weird. It crashes for me whenever loading bar is full and game is about to be loaded. Probably because my player.img is normal mapped.

wonderful mod!

But it is a little pity that this mod only support one light source? if a model which has normalmap lighten by two light source,the texture's normal map shader will flicker

hey DK, i just tried the nm_Matbuilder for the first time,and it doesnt work as i expected, the model has multiple textures .
