Are all interiors hidden above Pershing Square?

Recommended Posts

I noticed whenever I set way points on the map and go into one of the garages or safe houses online, the Start menu map is leading me to the waypoint not from my current location, but from Pershing Square.

Are all interiors hidden up above it in another dimension like North Yankton is hidden above the ocean on the south east part of the map?

If so, any possibility in somehow escaping an interior into "black space" and visiting North Yankton and other potentially unfound interiors?

Has anyone glitched out of interiors before?

ooh this sounds like the old San Andreas thing where you could escape the gym interior and go to this "black space", fly up as far as possible, and end up in another dimension within the game walking around killing random NPC's! anyone else remember this?

The Interiors universe, I think it's sometimes called Heaven...spent a long time there, some of San Fierro was loaded also on the ground, had a car in the garage there and it would be invisible. Jetpack ftw!

I hope there's a way without PC to do this sort of thing in V, but the main reason it worked in San Andreas was because you could fly around anywhere with the jetpack.

I remember it clearly. It was called 'Blue Hell'. You could fly to Liberty City (or a part of it from the missions where you visited it) by spawning a jetpack inside Ganton Gym and then heading out in Blue Hell.

I was of the understanding that starting with IV all interiors were actually where they're located, albiet loaded and unloaded when need be?

For the most part, that is true for V. But places like appartments and garages are physically all in one place, but spiritually some place else, if that makes any sense...

(Used the term "spiritually" loosely, not in any religious context)

^ Yeah It is like that for most of them, But then there are places like the online garages, offline garages, inside the ufo cut scene and inside the Movie cinemas. Places that aren't accessed directly by a door.

Yeah it was Blue Hell, I think theres was a second hell or a heaven, and there where multiple ways of entering it, and the map was all there below, just invisible except for a section of San Fierro...anyway I've read people calling under the map in new games Blue Hell so I just call it heaven or the interiors universe.

I remember that! You could find a tattoo shop there with tattoos that weren't in the other shops.

Yes, some buildings and others such as garages are physically located under Legion Square. If I remember someone found the hotel room from Jack Howitzer's TV show there.

Really? How was it found? Were they flying around under the map with the interiors loaded up somehow?

I also wonder if the interiors hidden beneath Legion Square (or Pershing Square in real life Los Angeles) are stacked above each other? I mean they are ALL beneath the same area of Legion Square, yet they are different interiors.

As opposed to San Andreas' interiors and how they were sprawled about horizontally.

the online garages are under legion square. I flew buzzards many times under the map and once went there and clipped the 10 car garage. Landed buzzard in 10 car garage and my cars spawned in from your first garage in the mechanic list. Other friends could see the buzzard in thier garages. North yankton and the garages are the only things physically where they shouldnt be. If u get into the 2 or 6 car garage flying under the map and dont have one it will kick you out at a random 2 or 6 car garage.

Most interiors only load for mission specific reasons but all interiors are located in the locale the mission was

It is the same system as IV. All of the interiors ARE in their buildings at there actual locations. ONLY garages are under Legion Square.

So no, there isn't a hidden interiors universe like the 3D era games

it's one generic garage that is cloned to your cloud data.... as I understand it?

I have arrived at my garage and seen another player briefly in the same location then they disappear.....

As for Pershing Square I can confirm that sometimes watching others on TV, I have been bumped out and ended up standing in the street at Pershing Square for no reason, even though my apartment is long way from the square. enjoy

I thought this was a thread bumped from October 2013

Has anyone ever tried going inside the garage that opens when you're going into your apartment? I don't mean the interior, but the garage door that gives you that cutscene of your vehicle driving in (or out).

This is easier when leaving your garage. Sometimes I will back my car up before the garage door closes and I can hide inside this faux garage interior. It looks nothing like any of our actual garage interiors. It has pillars and it turns the corner so it isn't a long narrow room. It also isn't white or brightly lit, more so it looks like a regular underground parking lot.

It's called blue hell

It depends, interiors that are assigned with multiple exteriors, like the Online safehouses(Low-Mid range) or garages are usually located at random locations high up the sky, this is because even though it is not visible as it loads in a different 'world' the collisions still exist in all 'worlds'.

Interiors that are unique to a specific building are located inside that building, but these are usually accessible via doors, not teleporters.

Good ol' Blue Hell haha. So many times did I go through that hole in Ganton gym or Las Venturas to visit the military base, that cool unused house interior and I even vaguely remember a tattoo parlor that had different tattoos than the ones available, so awesome. Wallbreaches are all we have to remind us of those penetrable walls

Would be cool to find new apartment interiors and stuff. I bet LV and SF are there too ;)

The low-medium end apartments and all garages are located somewhere above/below the map. However the high end apartments are located exactly where they are. Last year I discovered this when I was flying under the map and let myself into some poor sod's apartment. For some reason when you were entering an apartment you had a second or so of invincibility back then, so even though the helicopter would normally instantly explode you could survive :p

Ah GTA Heaven. All the memories of flying to Liberty City using a CodeBreaker.
If it weren't for SA and the jetpack, we wouldn't know what the interior heaven would be.
I especially miss seeing yellow markers floating high up in the air during certain missions.

Here's to GTA V on the PC giving us a better insight on these floating interiors.
