I really wasn't sure what category I should have posted this thread in so please understand it was clearly not my intention to upset anyone or make anyone mad.

 

My question is, is this Vapid Blade REALLY WORTH $160,000 ?!

 

I mean seriously....for $160,000 it better go from 0 to 60 in about 2.5 seconds and be a 7-8 second car! Or are we just paying for the 'rarity' of the vehicle?

it's pretty high up there in the muscle car class if we're talking about speed

 

however it's got some understeer

 

if driven correctly it can tear the Dominator and Gauntlet to shreds

Good advice here. Got rid of mine also...I just didn't like the way the back drags ass. Why does it sit so low in the rear.

It's a Gasser drag car. It shouldnt be lowered at all.

in attempting to make a pile of puke giantsgiants has actually made a car that isn't that bad. Brown works on this car. The rims are ugly and adding the gasser hood in an attempt to be trolly backfires

A quick little thing but the oversteer will get you if you're not careful.

Wasn't the Blade a Hipster Update car? If so, a lot of people don't get the joke in the price tag on the cars. Hipsters like to pay way over actual price just for vintage items, as it makes them cooler to do so. Like, $100 for a 40 year old tattered leather jacket.

I don't get why the price of Double-T and fellas are 15k the most, while Thrust, Hakuchou and such are starting from 75k and above.

In short YES... it's WAY faster than every other muscle car and (unlike any other muscle car) it's rear end does'nt break loose easy, allowing it to maintain control while putting it's massive power to the ground. While I love the other muscle cars too, the blade is in a class of it's own!

I can't lap faster in any other Muscle car so for me well worth it. Only rarely lose a race in Muscle class actually.

$100 for any leather jacket sounds ridiculously cheap, but a vintage leather jacket for $100? Where can I buy this at?

 

I love my Vapid Blade, use to drive it all the time. I use the dominator for races though.

Point 1, people get upset and mad here if you say hello to them. Just remember dont feed the trolls.

 

Point 2, the Blade is decent, quick off the mark, if you're good with it you might be able to compete in tight races (not long straights though). It looks nice (although a personal opinion) with a few mods available. Is it worth $160K? Not for me. I bought one and got bored of it pretty quick.

 

Get one in SP, blast around in it and see if you like it before blowing a large amount on it in MP.
