ColtA
I've just started getting into vehicle modding, and everything is going well so far. I've made a car with a lift kit, and it works fine, but the problem is that the suspension is basically just welded to the body of the car, and it doesn't move independently. I'm looking to make the suspension move with the wheels akin to the way the Sandking handles it's suspension. Currently the suspension models are just placed under the chassis, and tied to the chassis_dummy in the hierarchy tree. The problem is that it's set up the same way with the Sandking, and it (the sandking) still works, which makes me think that the suspension is to do with vehicles.ide or handling.dat or something. Any help is appreciated. Edited January 5, 2015 by ColtA Link to comment https://gtaforums.com/topic/759605-independent-suspension/ Share on other sites

ColtA
Would this mod help you? Particularly the adv_hydraulics. Don't worry, I figured it out - I just had to change a handling hex value in handling.cfg to have lowrider suspension Link to comment https://gtaforums.com/topic/759605-independent-suspension/#findComment-1066772258 Share on other sites
