PS3 to PS4 character transfer

is there any work around for transferring characters from an old PS3 ID to your new PS4 ID yet?

Its linked to your Social club account and not your psn or xbl account. I'm not sure if the new ID was an issue to some but I also think if you can't figure it out here or on another forum rockstar might be able to help if you make a ticket about it. Check youtube aswell

Yeah cause my friend made a new account that has ps plus on it so even if he switches back to his old account he can't play online, I heard PS3/ps4 transfers with different usernames don't work
