How to make a good looking guy?

First of all, if you're transferring your character, then definitely change his heritage. When I transferred mine, he looked like a horse punched him in the face at birth.

 

My original character looked awful, but after fiddling around with his heritage, I got him to look decent. When creating a character on next gen, you want to find the best heritage for your mother. Most of the father's look kind of strange to me, so you want to make the "resemblance" slider more towards your mother. Don't all the way, but just enough so it looks good.

 

Next, go into the advanced creation options, and focus on the chin, mouth, and nose first. This seems to be the main thing that makes people dislike the creation system. Yes, it's limited, but you can get it to work if you put some time into it.

 

The final result was this, after some time messing around in the "character alteration"

I hope this helps you make a decent looking character, OP.

The problem with using female slide bias is that it feminises the guy, smaller neck and face. All it really does is make them look like a teenager or maybe early twenties and not technically a fully matured male any girl is going to be looking to be impregnated by. I guess if you used two really solid parents you could get away with it.
