Would you like the option of picking your PV in mission lobbies?

Since the terrain in GTA V is so dynamic, I always find myself choosing different cars and upgrading what I feel would work best in certain areas. I've got just about a vehicle for every scenario, and the idea that you could pick which car or bike you own that you want to use before a mission starts would not only be convenient but would also add a small level of strategy when planning your approach to each particular mission.

This recently occurred to me because I got invited to the mission 'Extradition' yesterday and I was using the Carbonizzare. If anyone has driven this car, you'll know that without off-road tires, it can be quite a bitch to maneuver in anything that isn't asphalt so I had to watch my paces. I was *this* close to making it to the Sandy Shores airfield so I could nab one of the Laser jets but someone had already broke into Zancudo, so the moment I arrived they had already taken off and I had to shoot them down.

If I had off-road tires.. (or in an alternate universe I could choose something at the lobby menu that's better than the Carbonizzare) I probably would've been able to grab the Laser.

But this isn't about Extradition or the Carbonizzare. This is just an idea.

Why not just go to your garage and bring another car?

f*ck off nobody thinks your smartass "troll" comments are funny.

He makes a point though.

Generally this doesn't seem like a necessary feature - And it isn't. That's why I emphasized that this is just an idea, I don't think it's something mandatory to be added but I think it would be nice.

The whole.. *drive a certain distance so you can respawn another vehicle* exercise can be tedious, especially on missions with time limits but I overlook it because it simply doesn't bother me. I don't mind.

However if a feature like this is possible to be implemented. I'm pretty sure the majority of the playerbase would welcome it and not resent it. It would make contact missions appeal more to me.

You could just simply blow up the current vehicle and then call the mechanic for another one. The mission's payout would be enough to pay the bills.

Good idea to be able to choose any of our vehicles for a mission. It would eliminate the situation of crusing in vehicles that we don't want to do missions in. A vehicle could be picked just like we pick the weapon to start a mission and with the choice saved for other missions.

I just steal a NPC, car drive 200 ft, call mechanic, it's not that difficult to work around...That being said, it would be a welcome addition. To many more important things to worry about IMO

It's just the time wasted that's the problem. While I'm waiting for the mechanic, everybody else is half way wherever we need to go.

I would welcome this feature - and it would result in me driving more of my cars than I currently do.

I tend to use my Zentorno most of the time because I think it is the best / most versatile car in the game. For some missions that were not so reliant on speed, then I would happily use on of my other vehicles, but as someone said, it\s a pain to switch to a different car once a mission has started.

Otherwise, most of the cars I own stay in their garages virtually gathering virtual dust.

Just another perk, variety is more than important especially when there are so many vehicles.

It would slow the process of starting a mission down to snail pace ,as little kids try make their tiny little minds up...

If handled right, this could be outmaneuvered. Nothing stops somebody from immediately launching a job once you join and then not get the chance to stock up on ammo.

Explain. I'm all ears buddy. I find that what should be *worked around* is the fact that you HAVE to drive a certain distance before respawning another vehicle. Despawning PVs isn't realistic, but I'm sure nobody would care.
