Do not even think to ask me why you should watch it, just watch it. @sivispacem

Or don't, but if you don't, then don't bother posting about it.

"Watch this video"

Yet can't explain why I would want to, or how its relevant. That's a bit sad really.

Did you watch the video? I don't think you did because you can't explain it. You should watch it. Really watch it though. Watch it until you understand it. And can explain it.

Then do.

It's about Germany championing the Schengen Agreement, duh.

The video doesn't go into details like Hitler was the one who's dream it was, but then it's trying to sell the idea.

You should see the argument the video makes.

When they say experts question the need for a common currency, they just animate a bunch of borders and crying face to illustrate it's bad to have borders in Europe so VW can build engines in Hungary and have just in time delivery without the need for expensive warehouses or traffic stopping at a border.

The funniest thing is I have watched the video. I did ages ago. It's a pretty vanilla explanation of Schengen from DW. Snore. I knew it all anyway.

What's really clear is that you've not understood it, so you should watch it. Watch it until you understand it, then you might stop asking stupid questions and making idiotically ill informed statements.

So why not erect borders and do away with the common currency given all the different standards of living and labour costs?

You must just champion the exploitation of cheap labour over putting up checks at borders and ending of freedom of movement for goods, services and people over these different living standards.

No, it was Hitler's dream, but DW just say it was a post WWII dream for Europe and didn't mention who's (because we all know who's it was) since they're trying to sell it.

You think borders are bad. You think protectionism's bad too. But in this instance, you think borders are bad so instead of having borders to force VW to move production to Germany for just in time delivery to continue, you're not seeing a problem with opening borders across Europe for cheap labour to build things that are sold in Germany and added to the German GDP.

Hitler spawned this idea; then after the war, Churchill learned of it, and thought it was a good idea, but that UK kept out of it.

Just because Churchill agreed with Hitler's dream for Europe that is the Schengen, doesn't mean it was his idea; it means he agreed with Hitler's vision for Europe (but without UK being involved).

That's Brexiter Bullsh*t, spawned from them patching 2 of his speeches together and treating it as one complete speech.

The first half of the key quote is from the 30's depression era, the second half is 1946 and taken from his Zurich speech.

We all know what Hitler's peace time plan for Europe was and we all know the EU resembles that dream more than anything else. Why else do you think people call it the Fourth Reich?

Why else do you think Euroskepticism exists?

It adds tariffs to cheap labour and protects developing economies from being dumped on by being under cut by imported goods.

It's not reverting to a pre EEC situation, Brexit is moving forward and in 2020, the world has a stagnated EU, however, Remainers think it's 2015 and that the EU is the world when the rest of the world doesn't really care what the EU says.

Do you accept that the common currency and open borders is why the EU is doomed?

The economics were never there for the common currency to work. We all know unskilled people from poor countries flooded without restraint to more prosperous countries and not the other way around; Sure, we're free to live in Romania, but, why would we want to when they pay sh*t in Romania compared to UK, freedom of movement isn't a 2 way street just because we don't want to go to some backwards backwater butt f*ck nowhere place no matter how free we are to - that's why EU migration was one way.

In 2008 I believe (around then/that time) the Euro failed - and they had to break the rules to save it.

The UK has been a stagnated economy for longer than the current EU stagnation phase.  Brexiters think 2020 is going to be great, prepare to be bitterly disappointed when the UK gets exactly nowhere over the coming months with it's, 'extensive schedule of new trade agreements.'

No, you prepare to get disappointed when life goes on after the transition period ends and that all the scare mongering you've clearly fallen for doesn't happen.

Think of Brexit Chaos like the Y2K Virus, the so called Millennium Bug or even the chaos UK not joining the single currency was meant to bring.

Prepare to be disappointed and embarrassed when you see Brexit's just the same Retard.

Last I heard, UK's already signed bilateral deals in Europe with the likes of France for security and Switzerland for market continued access and the United States are eager to sign a deal given we're not tied to the EU too much.

How is this an acknowledge recession?

We've got the likes of Sajid Javid in the cabinet, and he used to be a banker in Singapore.

If we could keep London competitive, then that's a way to keep business in Britain.

The ONS has been pretty clear on the odds of economic contraction, and they're usually pretty spot on. The only people who haven't basically accepted that a recession is the likely outcome of Brexit are the most fanatically delusional of ardent Brexiteers.

A recession is only two consecutive quarters of negative economic growth. Not hard to expect with a global economic slowdown underway even putting Brexit aside.

Look, we're leaving the EU, we're a culture who loves tax avoidance, IDK about you, but, The City runs on it.

Sure, we'd grow less as things stand coming out of the EU than we would remaining.

But if we factor in all our new freedoms such as the ability to be a low tax haven and to shift our profits to lower taxed states and countries; then employers will come with their jobs and we'd still be earning a living.

If the EU's war on tax avoidance with a general anti abuse rule to overrule national tax loop holes wasn't a good reason to get out of the EU, then sovereignty and divergence from the EU is a good reason to get out of the EU.

Also, if UK became a state of America, we'd be poorer than Mississippi; but we're not joining America, we're not leaving Europe. We're most probably going to be a red carpet for America in this part of the world, and that's better than being in the EU with all its regulations and taxation laws.

That UK's going in for tax avoidance in all our divergence talk and we're going to be closer to America now and the EU f*cked up big time with their anti abuse rule overruling national tax havens.

Get used to it.

Tax avoidance is good, don't let the EU tell you it's not.

Gives a f*ck about North of England? If they get development, sure, if not, at least London and the South East is better off, and guess where I'm from?

Sure, it'll be nice for them to have prosperity too for the North, why not, but it's not really top of our concern; that sounds more like Rebecca Long Bailey than Boris Johnson, but; he knew these places voted for Brexit and he needed to win an election so probably spoke about tossing them a bone, but, does it look like North of England matters to a tax avoidance banker who believes UK's a sh*t hole too until things change in the UK.

If you're rich in the UK, it doesn't matter where you're from and where you work.

I'm not saying it's equal, but it is fair; London makes the money, so London gets the money.

Sure, the rest of England is nice, but, you seem to think it's top priority in London that the North of England gets regenerated - It's not.

It's actually pretty high on the government's priority list. Expect to see funding diverted from the South East to keep their newly acquired electorate happy.

The Tories, given that's what won them the election.

You believed that?

Sure, they lent The Tories their votes, and any Tory who wanted to retain them would suddenly increase spending up there....

But really, this government are there to 'Get Brexit Done' (so the Punch and Judy mantra goes). We're being taken out of the EU on a mandate steered by bunch of Singapore Bankers like Sajid Javid or American born born in the same city as President Trump our PM Boris Johnson or, IDK whatever rich toffee nose snob Jacob Rees-Mogg is, but I bet he's got his own reasons for Brexit too.

The one's steering the country at moment though there because of these votes, are still the same people with the same aims as before in Brexit.

I for one love that we've got an American born prime minister making all the right noises in trade with America who was also Mayor of London (just, wow, y'know) bringing us out of the EU and diverging from the EU.
