What other Rally cars are there except the Futoand Sultan?

futo and rally in the same breath...

wow just wow

on a serious note, i know the futo to be a drift car but never a rally car, anyway the answer youre looking for is Entity and Zentorno.

Warrener could be rally-ish. It's more track oriented though. Could pass a Comet as one too tbh.

With the taped light clusters and modded front end scoops, exposed intercoolers etc, the Warrener is very much a 'classic class' rally car as under modern regs, the exposed intercoolers and such would be illegal.

But it is a great homage to Japanese cars and classic rally cars of the early to mid 70's, before Audi changed everything with the upgrade to 4WD and the Quattros.

Now there is a car that should be added to this.... The Sport Quattro of the early 80's, looks as ugly as sin but Audi only made it road legal to allow the rally cars to compete. It's an awesome road car though, 150 mph in the early 80's and nimble as anything else.

I agree with what you're saying to a degree. I just see the Warrener as more of the old Hakosuka Racers, With the mods that are available. And I'd pay in a heartbeat to have a Quattro.

When I see the back end of the Warrener, I see the back end of a Mark 1 Ford Escort. One of the greatest rally cars ever manufactured.

The Warrener is a weird one because I think it can be many things. With certain mods it's an obvious Hakosuka racer, with certain mods it's a bosozoku-style tuner but with other mods it definitely can look like an old Escort Mk. II, especially as the rear is more Escort than Skyline.

And the Futo might have a rally bumper but there is no way in hell it could be a rally car. It's a pure and simple tuner or drifter but you'd be hard pressed to see a real-life AE86 Levin converted to rallying.

Never said it would be impossible, I said it would be hard. The AE86 Levin is by no means a popular rally car, for parity of costs, most people choosing a car for rally tuning would not really look at a Levin.

Back in the day, they were very very popular along with the AW11's, Starions, Cosmos and Lancer GSR Turbos. Though the AE86 raced more predominantly in national rally stages in japan. If you go to japan, about 1/15th-ish of AE86's rotting away in their scrap lots are heavily reinforced race cars or rally cars with spot welding visible throughout the chassis. The rest of them would be a mix between mild drift or street-standard cars.

Yeah I like to think of the Warrener as a classic escort, shame it has too much grip though, not so much RWD fun :p

Futo also has the rally mods yeah like the lights. I made my Sultan Subaru blue and yellowy/green/gold with white rally tyres, haven't got a picture though.

During the snow days, I took my Dominator out for some rallying and its really fun! Nice to flick the car round corners:

I also liked the Tailgater, makes a nice fun off road car as well. What I would love are some more off road mods and maybe lift kits (although someone else explained thats probably not possible). Imagine the kind of customisation on The Crew, turning a Dominator into a RAID car *drools*.

The Glendale is also a nice classic off roader, haven't got any pictures of mine though that show it lol.

Right, can we get this straight? The Futo isn't a real car, it's a something created by Rockstar. If Rockstar want to give is rally modifications then it's a f*cking rally car. End of.

I soo much agree with this. Applys to pretty much every car discussion on this board.

The Japanese would tune a shopping trolley if it had an engine and the Finns seem to have the ability to drive anything at all.

Anyway, on a serious note, back to topic. There are a few golden oldies that I would love if they were remade for GTAO. Top of which would probably be a Peugeot 405, especially if it's like the T-16 he drove at Pike's Peak in 1988 (minus that absolutely horrible spoiler, so basically the Dakar version but with a more traditional rally set-up):

ari-vatanen-pikes-peak-5.jpg

Or, staying with French classics, probably THE rally car of the 1960s and to me more iconic than the Mini, the Alpine Renault A110:

I think the Alpine especially would fit the bill because it could be embraced by the tuner crowd as it definitely looks like a mean machine if you lower the suspensions and give it a decent wheelset.

^Just like the race Jester and Massacro. They aren't in game because Rockstar didn't put them in, nothing to do with legality.

I'd love to see a version of the Lancia Stratos or Delta rally cars. I'm having a crisis just thinking of them.
