I do think I found the solution to dirt bike racers.

In a lobby of pro racers, if you pick anything other than a Sanchez, you will probably lose.

It's not about speed, or even handling. It's stability. Hit one bump wrong in a Bifta/Dune Buggy and you spin/flip. It's almost impossible to lose control of a Sanchez.

Did you know a Sanchez can save you 15 minutes or more on car insurance?

Whatever. Just use what you like and be happy. Most people prefer a dirty Sanchez over filthy Dune Buggy.

All I want to know is what ever happend to the 2 stroke Sanchez? Imo ever since Gta4 the Sanchez sounds like cr*p! And what's with just 1 dirt bike in the entire game? I say bring back the 2 stroke Sanchez from san Andreas and add some more beefy bikes into the game.

Note if you watch the 2nd gta v trailer you can hear 2 stroke noise from the Sanchez!

If you want to troll off road bike riders, race my Ivan Steelman's OFF ROAD series playlist.

http://socialclub.rockstargames.com/games/gtav/playlists/playlist/cNpiBr-WA0KQWUI-T0dFXw

All the tracks will SINK the bikes and low vehicles. Every track description SAYS bikes WILL SINK, DO NOT USE, and nearly every time I host my playlist, idiots still bring bikes. Then they get to the deep water jumps and cant get pass, while I jump on by in my Rebel, and then they quit like the bitches they are. It hilarious. The tracks were all designed for the Rebel, which I can kick anyones ass in with its better acceleration than a Sandking and bouncy spring package for extra lift off ramps.

The "problem" he was referring to was that off-road races are dominated by bikes. To some, that is a problem. I only use a Sanchez because I hate the Bifta and care about winning. When I start up a race, I look around the starting grid at the guys in the Bifta's and buggies and think "Ok, I don't have to worry about these guys. Only 2 bikes - only 2 competitors" -- If you're good at the Sanchez, that's really the truth. It is not difficult to beat any other off-roader with the Sanchez - unless, as others have said, water is involved. But I've only come across that once or twice.

It's also a problem that some people look at Sanchez users as if they're not as good or whatever. People who pick the Sanchez just understand how the game works and want to win the race. Not that you can't win in other vehicles, but if you know the track and know what you're doing, Sanchez is far and away your best option.

the bifta is quicker than the dune buggy...race me in mine if you're on xb1 with catchup turned off of course...

also broughys tests revealed not only that the bifta is much quicker than the dune buggy on a purpose made track for testing (1.4 seconds faster a lap) but also that the blazer is quicker as well...

check the sticky at the top of the forum...you've clearly faced people in biftas that can't drive...the dune buggy is easy to control so people unable to drive can win in it as they don't crash like people in biftas...

people that can drive don't crash in biftas or dune buggys but the bifta is quicker in that scenario...it isn't rocket science

My tin can Rebel beats Those bikes regularly.

You need to have someone who knows how to ride first.

Yes, but anyone who does know how to ride will slaughter the Rebel, or anything else in the offroad class. The hairpin turning and immunity from spin-out makes the Sanchez a beast on 95% of offroad tracks. Everytime I run an offroad race I note who is on a Sanchez, and afterward they're usually stacked at the top while everyone else is down below, no matter what they were driving.

As far as alternatives, I'd say the Bifta is best and you need to fight dirty - knock the Sanchezes over or at least stay in front of them and make their lives difficult whenever possible. If they get too far in front of you, it's all over. I don't like the Buggy at all, because while it's got good straight line speed, it does a 180 any time you hit anything more significant than a pebble. (Have endured many frustrating runs of the mission Chopper Tail - because the rough terrain they ask you to navigate while following the helo will have you spinning this way and that constantly. And unlike the Injection or Bifta, it's hard to recover from those spins in the Buggy. It just wants to go the wrong way all the damn time.)

The "problem" he was referring to was that off-road races are dominated by bikes. To some, that is a problem. I only use a Sanchez because I hate the Bifta and care about winning. Funny you would say that and then go on to explain EXACTLY why it's a problem. I choose the Sanchez too, because I don't want to lose. But that vehicle essentially invalidates the entire rest of the class if you're racing with people who are at least moderately competent. It's not like sports or supers, or any other class, where some vehicles have an advantage, but a good racer can still win in most of the other vehicles (e.g. in a super race, my Turismo does fine against Entities and Zentornos, and in a muscle race I've won with practically every vehicle in the class, even though the Gauntlet and Dominator are the best cars on offer). In a lengthy offroad race the Sanchez obliterates its competition. It's not at all balanced and it ruins the fun if you'd like to run an offroad race in any other vehicle.

gauntlet is way down the pecking order now behind the dukes, blade, ruiner, sabre, phoenix and stallion in muscle since the spoiler update

dominator is the king though sure...I have dominator, blade, phoenix & dukes myself and can win in any of them in random lobbies but in a proper race people know the right car for the track

The spoiler only adds traction, it's ridiculous to take cars with worse stats in almost every category just to gain a little traction (which the gauntlet does pretty well on for its class, anyhow). The Gauntlet has higher acceleration than all of those except the Blade and Dukes, higher top speed than all except the Phoenix and Ruiner, significantly better default handling than all of them (it whups the entire muscle class on this, even the Dominator), better or significantly better brakes than all of them. In short, I disbelieve you, sir. The Gauntlet is still awesome - and thank god you can't deface it with a sh*tty spoiler.

EDIT: Got curious and went to watch Broughy's video on muscle cars, which I assume you were referencing. The results surprise me to say the least, given the Gauntlet's excellent stats and my strong racing record with it. I'll keep an open mind though and start racing some of my other ones (I have a garage full) on the odd occasion that a muscle car race comes along. I should also add, I end up in a lot of weird races with my friend who likes offroading in muscle cars, and in that arena I think the Gauntlet has some distinct advantages due to its weight, stability and brakes. A lot of the other cars you named end up flying off the road while I navigate tricky dirt roads to victory. But it's not exactly city driving.

the gauntlet is sh*t you doughtnut

Um, OK. Even Broughy's video showed that the separation between the Gauntlet and the #1 and 2 cars (Dominator and Dukes) in lap time is about three seconds (1:10 vs. 1:13) and that's running perfect laps on just one specific race. You don't like the car, cool. I win a lot of races in it and clearly it's good enough to compete against most players. What I often see is that the "best" car (Dominator) gives a lot of people fits - they crash due to the steering quirks, while I go gliding by in my more-stable ride. Now having just acquired a Dominator again, I'll be racing in it more - but not exclusively.

No need to be a dick, pal.

Ivan Steelman's OFF ROAD Series playlist is on PS3

If you loved Ivan "Ironman" Stewart's Off Road arcade game from back in the day, you'll love my tracks. Bring a Rebel truck and you'll feel like you're INSIDE that old game! All tracks guaranteed to Get a Little Mud on the Tires!

Huh? How was I being a dick? Maybe you should be talking to the guy who mystifyingly called me a "doughtnut."

Yep, I was agreeing with you. Half the posts above mine said there wasn't a problem because they could use the bifta or sarcastically said "just use a sanchez! LOLZ" I was explaining why it is, actually, a problem for some people. Sorry if it didn't come across that way. I agree 100%.
