I do think I found the solution to dirt bike racers.

We all know dirt bike racers dominate Off Road races, but I do say I've found quite the alternative.

A fully tuned, BF Dune Buggy.

Seriously these things are worth having in your garage for off road racing. Tuned these are as fast if not faster then the Sanchez (though I'm not certain if I've raced a tuned Sanchez yet, I don't think, most players seem contempt with picking the stock one). This thing corners tight and at speed, grips insane, unlike the Injection it doesn't tend to roll, unlike the Bafia it doesn't tend to slip out.

I've own a fully tuned Dune Buggy for the past few months and man what results it's given. It could be Baja Hangtime or anything and this beast will hang right in there with the Sanchez, and pass them with a good driver.

If your tired of racing Sanchezes then I recommend modding one of these. The Dune Buggy doesn't cost much anyway to do up, so not not like there is any huge loss if you decide to sell it.

The Sanchez may not be the king we all think it is.

its fast, but a fully tuned sanches is faster, as long as you keep the front wheel in the air

[EDIT ]they should just take the sanches out of offroad class.. i dont like that it riuns every offrad race.. even i use it if i do a offroad race with random people.

Dune buggy is awesome, but a Sanchez will still be miles ahead on every track.

Though it's a good option when you're in a lobby full of idiots just out to knock you off your bike.

they wont if your ahead of them. =)

The Lonesome Drifter

What problem? Sure your faster but bifta's, dune buggy a and on one occasion (for me atleast) dubsta's can easily keep pace.

Not to mention how vulnerable you are when driving one. One tap and your screwed.

Stop being a liability OP. If anything complain about the terrible user created tracks this "problem" happens on instead.

nah, in a true off road race, a buggy will spin out because of the 4 wheels being on the ground at different times

sanchez will never spin out of control put wheelies allow you to clear rocks better

I have bifta, dune, blazer and sanchez

sanchez for off road races all day

justinlynch3

the bifta is second not dune buggy.

in a straight line ala gr2 the bifta wins...dune buggy has crap top speed

That's important because all off road races are only straight line runs right?

I think all around the Buggy is def second.

And did one guy say Buggy's are overused? Usually I enter a race see half a lobby of Sanchez, a few 6X6's, a Sandkind or 2 and maybe at odd times a Bifia or Injection. I see Buggy's rarely but not nearly to the point of overuse.

Ms.AirSuperiority

I use a plain, turbo'd Injection in off-road races, and it leaves dirt bikes in the dust.

Are they actually a problem in races? I mean, they're great around corners, but they have an "okay-at-best" top speed (in my experience)

I usually win the races with a Sanchez in the turns. The wheelie acceleration helps, but it's not as big of a factor as being able to navigate tight corners (oo-er missus).

It also makes short cuts an option. Whereas one wrong bump with a car can basically mean the end of the race for you, the Sanchez will land safely as long as you don't end up backward or upside down.

"Nothing can touch the Sanchez on a true off road race."

Coming from someone that off roads in real life, At a true off road race the Sanchez would be left on the trailer. It can't go thru water or over large boulders, it can only jump them that's why R* added ramps to off road races. Wanna clip the wings off the Sanchez, run user created off road races (there are good ones out there)that don't cater to bikes.

Sure, but the buggy can't really do water either - only the lifted vehicles can, unless you're lucky enough to float it to the shore before drowning it.

Although I do have to say, the time it takes the Sanchez to circumvent a boulder tends to be minimal. Of course, we're not talking about real life where you can easily fall off of your bike.

Halal Cyborg

no the bifta is most certainly faster round corners as well but just more of a challenge...a bit like the dune buggy is the blade of off road and the bifta is the dominator...

broughys sticky reveals the bifta to be faster fully modded...stock the dune buggy is better though...I race all the time and have won 2000 races and don't have a dune buggy in my garage but a bifta and not even a sanchez...when I said btw with a straight the bifta would win for definite I was referring to against a sanchez....I've beaten a sanchez loads of times and indeed on both grass route tracks the bifta will always win against a sanchez drivers being equal even

mikkelhansen

My fully tuned Bifta wins everytime. I don't even consider any other off-road, except maybe my fully modded MW Mesa if all players must use "cars" (ie not bikes and not the small off-road vehicles like Bifta and Dune Buggy).
