Dive the jet into the ground and crater it. That will cause the homing missile to lose lock.

Best way to avoid them is to fly into the side of building, once the jet is destroyed, the homing missile can no longer lock on to you

OP, try flying upwards, right above the player locking onto you. He won't be capable of aiming to your jet.

Stay at maximum speed all the time and fly around buildings very close to avoid it hitting you, dive behind a building or something big enough to cancel the locking on before the missile is fired.

Avoiding homing missiles in the two jets is easy, just do fast circles.

I'm just gonna give a little mini guide because logic and I already have this ready for a video I was trying to make but failed.

 

 

For the homing launcher I recommend flying really low or really high, if they do a get shot off just wait till the rocket gets close to your jet and a do a loopty loop, the rocket has to slow down and turn so it will be slower and will be outran. Also don't always get scared of the homings, if you can't find someone on the ground you can use the flash of smoke as a flare to the guy on the ground

 

Homings for the buzzard, Remember that buzzards (and players alike) can't look straight up, so going really high up and spamming missiles and cannons will surley kill them, just don't hit the debris on the way down.

 

For other Lazers, try to come straight at them from a higher altitude, so you can swoop downwards with the extra velocity from falling straight down you can spam the missiles to use the extra speed to get close to the other dude, the other jet will try to dodge letting his entire wing surface be exposed, so just spray your load of cannon all over his ass. I recommend just spamming missiles when you're out of range of the cannons, this gives extra tension to the dogfight making it harder for the other pilot.

 

If you behind someone and you guys are making orbits with your reticule JUST off his jet, look to see if he's throttling, if he is DON'T he's making a bigger circle, if you make a shorter circle you will get closer and have the cannon fire be right on him as he passes by on his orbit.

You're ultimate goal really is to get behind the other pilot.

 

Also just because I did this 2 days ago, if you manage to rip one of your wings off and you're now in a forever spin, you can use the spinning and the back flaps with some timing to maneuver crudely at least enough to get back to Zancudo, this "amazing" discovery has let me survive from LS airport all the way to Zancudo with only one wing, although if you have another Jet or Buzzard on you might as well call it a day because you do not have the capability to out maneuver the missile at that point

OP, try flying straight out to sea as far and as fast as you can and don't stop. The missile will eventually stop tracking.

 

Try doing this even when there is no missile.

Well a noise is made when a homing missile is fired at you. That is the warning sound. What I generally do then is dive and turn hard left or right in a spin. Normally the missiles miss and I win the missions using jets.

What does "pay attention in English" means? Isn't it supposed to be "pay attention TO English"?

The only thing you can do OP when a homing rocket comes after you is you haft to press triangle. Works every time!
