Online framerate atrocious?

Ever since the Festive Surprise content update my interaction menu has been bugged and my framerate on GTA Online has made the game near unplayable for me. I've read other people having framerate problems when trying to open the interaction menu but for me my online is very sluggish no matter if I try to open the menu or not. Is this a common problem or am I the only one experiencing this? It's not my internet connection because I've brought my Xbox to a friend's and I get the same results and we both have exceptional internet speeds. I'm playing this on the Xbox One, by the way.

Your not the only one bro. We are patiently waiting till the 6th when the festive items will be removed. Hopefully it will automatically fix itself. If not all hell will break loose lol ... Rockstar has stated the issue is resolved so well just have to wait and see.

Good to know, I've mainly been just playing SP until this issue is resolved. I did a little bit of Google searching and I did see a few tickets made by other people on the Rockstar support page but I didn't really see anybody effected by continuous framerate issues that I'm having, I only really seen people complaining of framerate issues if they tried to bring up the interaction menu.
