Actually they could stretch it until april but of course their deadline now is 24 march, or if they want to make their "few weeks in advance" promise at least march 10 or sooner.

Personally I still think march 3 is the date, but they have delayed more often so I am not holding my breath.

I don't mind not having a set date. Besides, gives me time to save GTA$. I've found that forgetting about the next content update makes it come faster with a bit of the surprise element.

For public, Q1 means January to March as well.

 

But don't worry, because Rockstar can drag Q1 until December 2015, so better have something to do or play than just waiting for Vaguestar Vagues.

I just wanted say that everyone in this thread is disappointed when they don't see an update. Even the folks that come in here saying, "I told you nothing was coming!"

 

Why?

 

Cause like clockwork you're here to gloat about how nothing has come out again right along side with the folks that got on board the hype train. Don't kid yourself that you're all that much different.

 

You're not. But instead of being hopeful you're more cynical. As you should be. "Fool me once..." etc. But you are the flip side of the hype coin. You're still waiting around probably hoping you're wrong.

I imagine R* sitting behind their desks every Tuesday with multiple forums related to GTA Online pulled and get a huge kick out of all of the hype then disappointment then bickering that takes place.

 

R* doesn't have to do anything anymore to hype this game, because as a community we do all of the work. We can rarely get too upset with R* because they have shared little specific info about the release. After the Jan 27th postponement, all they have said is early 2015.

 

I think they owe it to their consumers to be a little less vague. At some point you stop caring as much and move on, but obviously they still have us on the ropes. Damn us for caring so much.

R* said in the coming weeks, leading up to PC release. If it were coming in March, coming months leading up to PC release, would have been more accurate. The way they said it sounds like they intended for it to be weeks away, while that could mean months I tend to lean on the weeks meaning exactly that - weeks away. That being said, it truly could mean anything up to the release of PC version. Even one day before PC release would be accurate. IT has been so long though, this game needs more than a few heists and cars to buy. It will be something new to do, but everything new from R* should be met with a little apprehension. God knows all the bugs that are coming with them.

If heists aren't out by the time PC is released, R* has definitely gone against their word when they stated PC would be released not long after heists.
I'm in no rush for the heists, as I want them to be perfect. I feel heists will change some aspects of the game, so I'm enjoying the game as much before things start changing.

 

EDIT: @funmw2-Have you found anything about the Merryweather Mesa? The ability to purchase it, change the body style (roll cage option, back tire option, roof option)?
