For singleplayer, example, do i need to do the Aircraft Carrier Heist to unlock the Hydra on singleplayer?

Nah. For last gen they'll appear in your garage/hanger/helipad/dock and on current gen/PC you can buy em from the web.

I don't play with other people, and my crew is built as a PMC type thing, so having a mobile weapons platform of ANY sort, would be fan, f*cking, tastic. Something I could roll through repeated missions without pegasus involvement. But, this? Just gives me the sads. I still hope, but it's pretty dim. We'll know soon(ish) enough for sure though.

Why would I bother? I have a buzzard and tank already. They both fill the roll of "moving thing with guns tha tI spend a lot of money on and don't get to technically own."

I was hoping to finally get to ACTUALLY own and modify somehting with a gun on it, instead of the cocktease JB 700 and pegasus vehicles. That's why I'm upset.

I have a Rebel in one of my garages right now. I HAD a tank in my garage for a while too. Fit just fine. Barrel got in the way, but the thank itself fit just fine. Sandking XL? Dubsta 6x6? Yup. Even the Sandking, that scratches the roof whenever I left the garage with it took up one whole garage slot. I'm certainly not asking for an invincible, explosion spewwing, death machine, as they already took that from me.

 

The more we learn about the updates, the less hopeful I am for them being worth the wait. GTA:Online is great, addictive, and I doubt I'll put it down permanently anytime soon, but R*'s absolutely mental thought processes behind what we can and can't keep our hands on is ridiculous.

Well put it this way: The machine gun can be abused inside of the apartment, while in an apartment you're not automatically set to passive mode, the only thing that happens is that you can't draw out your weapons.

You basically described almost every decision R* have made since the Launch of GTA Online. Good on paper, poor in execution or practice (usually due to glaring oversights).

 

The only speculation I am concerned about right now is if the Valentine's Day Content will come back or not. R* really have been letting us hang of late with limited (to no) information being provided about their intentions with GTA Online (i.e how long will they support the game with Updates and what frequency etc) or even what future Updates could be less Heists.

His speculation on Heist being Christmas was wrong, then claimed he can dns codes again, charged money for it and ran. The dudes a fraud.

Modified Tunables with DNS has nothing to do with leaks .

He leak information from R* test files.

Check the release date for festive sruprise ( December 18th, 2014 ) .

Now check it from DLC files :

The name "NillxModz" puts a lot of people off, including myself.

 

Don't understand the blind hate for him. He turned out to be right about so many things, yet you write him off as a liar because of a few faults. Why does he have to be either 100% right or 100% wrong? His input should be looked at as you would with any leaker, with caution. Remember that "Jeff" contact of him? Saw that one confirmed a few pages ago. The guy was legit. He had the code. Just understand that his "leaks" are simply his interpretation of that code, which can of course be wrong in certain aspects. A majority of the game is locked, original weapons, weapon mods, clothing, masks, cars and car upgrades.

 

Some of us welcome locked content. We don't appreciate a level 5 with a homing launcher purchased with a cash card.

 

So if the insurgents are purchasable and need to be unlocked, how many are we going to have to buy. I'm sure the regular would be offered first so I'd buy it, but I'd probably like to have 2 armed insurgents for heists.

 

Since the heist leader needs to front the costs, R* is most likely adding a new feature. It might be heist only but whether the vehicles are Pegasus or in your garage, you're going to have two or more out at a time.

If you did your research you would know they at one time had the mechanic deliver your car. The moron couldn't find you across the street. Half the time you'd run after him as he drove away, only to have him call and say he couldn't deliver the car. I personally never had any problems that were bigger than with the current system. An APC in the sense of "lighter tank" no. However, in regards to a machinegun, rather than some sort of cannon, literally all you would have to do is lock the gun in an apartment. You also wouldn't be able to do it solo, as you'd need a friend with one, or need a friend to hop on yours. Then spam invites. Way too much of a hassle imo, and easily defeated by just locking the gun itself in the apartment.

I live in a high end w new interior and my planning room has no map, unlike the old interior high ends.

 

Maybe it puts the map in the new interior apts.

It's not about garage space. It's about R*'s dumb principles. They don't want us to have military vehicles in our garage. Probably due to realism, but since when has GTA been realistic anyways.
