Very minor but my friend and I noticed a new advertisement yesterday.

What does it says?

Says johnny tung on a building with a picture of a womans legs wearing high heels.

 

 

Is that the one down the road to the west of the 'main' L.S. Customs?

The last updates were actually Thursday IIRC...

 

1.18 The Festive Surprise (Update?) was on Thursday, a week before Christmas Day.

 

1.17 The The Last Team Standing Update was on Thursday, no idea why.

 

The Tuesday release day is due to Microsoft updating their X-Box Live services on that day between 5 AM and 9 AM E.S.T.

 

In addition, the PSN store is updated every Tuesday at 2-5 PM E.S.T.

As we are in the U.K. and GMT is 5 hours ahead that means 10 AM - 2 PM on X-Box, 7 PM - 10 PM on PlayStation.

 

Unless the U.K. services are updated at a different time to those in the U.S.A.

This is a stupid question, but I've been following this thread and haven't seen it mentioned...

 

Regardless of what the update includes, which probably won't be Heists, why does everyone assume it will be released on a Tuesday? Haven't the last two updates come out on Fridays? Serious question, don't flame me..

 

I just feel like if anything maybe we'll see an update (no Heists, but content) still tomorrow...it's rare that a month goes by without an update and it's pretty much the end of the month.

 

Rockstar have stated that the next update will be Heists, of course this doesn't mean they can't have a featured event & crate drops for Valentines day which doesn't require an update.

 

 

 

They also made an announcement stating Early 2015 and in the coming weeks ahead of PC Launch, thus nullifying the statement "The Next Update will be Heists" I thought it was clear the Festive Surprise was an actual update as it included new items, the same will go for Valentine's Day, new items, guns and cars etc.

No. The creator uses the term actors for npc characters and although I understand you said "in this context", we are talking about code and computers don't like it if you change meanings.

What do you mean 'stop it' ? People are only repeating what Rockstar said in their statement, they've also mentioned nothing of heists being delayed due to the PC release pushback...sure it would make sense but that doesn't make it fact

Just think, if R* never even mentioned doing heists online, they would've scrapped the idea long ago and we'd be moving on to something (yet, not quite as big) in online.

at bottom right , it seems it's a C-ram turret ( machine gun or missiles ) . it may also serve as scenery prop or manned weapon ( exclusive to player or otherwise )

 

while this one , aside the bed can be used to sit 2 person , it appears there's someone hanging on sides . making it look like " guntruck "

 

in addition sidebar and sidestep in this picture , suggest the passengers cap would be look like police riot ( 1 on front , 2 on back and 2 hanging on sides ) but with additional passenger as gunner . but i can't tell whetever is unique plate , random plate or custom plate

I've been thinking this for the last month, mostly because I can't think a lot of things that would be added. Being that the Valentine's Day Massacre had a lot to do with 20's style mobsters, I get the vibe that both may be connected. This is more my guess than something based on actual reasoned speculation. Either way, I am pretty optimistic that they'll have the heists out before PC.

sometimes , vehicle with mounted gun on roof ( with cutout/holes , not from bed or like technical ) may ommited 2 ppl on back door to make room for their legs . not to mention there's no SUV or pickups were able to carry more than 8 person ( busses , barrack OL , etc is exception)

 

however unarmed variant ( as seen the screenshot ) , if u got a good eye , the back seems having " van door " compared to armed's bed

 

judging by blue color , it may not belong to fort zancudo marines ( as it's livery usually desert camo ) . but it can't be belong to NOOSE either ( NOOSE uniform alongside their vehicle color are black : annihilator & buzzard . not counting FIB granger manned by NOOSE nor police riot , which diffcult to distinguish , due police riot marked NOOSE and LSPD )

This is guaranteed no matter when either Release.

 

I also do not think R* will combine Heists with Valentine's Day since they can get away with only adding slightly more Content to the existing Valentine's Day Content, sitting on this content for 4 - 5 weeks and then releasing 2 - 1 weeks before the GTA V PC Release. This way they will not consider giving us another Update until mid to late May...However if they combine them, people will start to expect an Update around April given the typical release windows.

 

It would be so much easier if R* just communicated with us; although even then they have done a bad Job at sticking to their word of late so I guess this could result in annoying more people (i.e. saying these are the next 5 Updates at these times and then not releasing them then).

"Weeks ahead of the PC launch" can mean anything from now on. R* cant say "Months ahead of the PC Launch" because then people would expect it within a week or so. Weeks ahead could mean anything from 2 weeks ahead of the PC launch in March, or it could mean tomorrow. Who knows.

There's a solid chance of heists coming out a week or so before a Valentine's update. Think of it: It would give R* a week to spot any bugs or glitches in the heists that might have been overlooked during the testing period, and the chance to patch them with a second update in less than a week without resorting to hotfixing.
