I really hope Heists will be released in february because I don't care about a Valentine's Update again.

 

Plus they said Heists would be the first update after new-gen release of the game.

I hope it's tomorrow (Thursday),or else they'll blatantly lie about Hists being the first update again.

December 17th, 2014 release of heist trailer and accompanying IGN Interview says heists was delayed again to "early 2015". It's no longer the 1st update. It's "in the coming few weeks ahead of the PC launch"

 

Will it be delayed again? I don't know, many say yes.

There has not been one big update since gta online launched for ps3 & 360. We could be waiting a while lol

Rockstar has probably been finished with heists a long time ago, they are just waiting for the right time to capitalize on the release.

This means the rules for actors can be applied to players .

 

Wouldn't 'actors' specifically mean players taking on npc roles (e.g. posing as cops or sanitation workers) in this context?

There's a "copteam" variable .

This isn't limited to be used for the prison break heist . So will R* limit it to the prison break heist ?

That sound like "Cops and Crooks confirmed!" for me.

Well, all that means is players might have to pose as cops on multiple occasions. Makes sense in heists.

An actor is usually reffering to an NPC character such as the ones you can place in LTS and Capture modes and not a player masquerading as something else. They would always stay a player.

 

Any evidence of the Anti-Cheat system going live, could that have been the background scripts?

The festive update already broke that promise.

 

The festive "update" isn't an update. It was temporarily. R* only calls non-temporary DLC updates, and updates that have a limited time frame to buy stuff are also updates.

Massacro and Jester racecar, Slamvan, Ratloader, homing launcher and proximity mines... still available for me.

Rockstar have stated that the next update will be Heists, of course this doesn't mean they can't have a featured event & crate drops for Valentines day which doesn't require an update.

 

Also, anyone else having trouble joining GTA Online at the minute? I'm on XboxOne, did come up saying my character transfer hadn't completed yet..which isn't true as I transferred from 360 on next gen release day. It's now just saying the Rockstar servers are unavailable
