There is an office at the Palmer-Taylor power station that has doors locked but you can see through the glass like the police station.

 

Has this always been there or is it new? Is this heist related Fun?

That's neat. I played Max Payne 3 but never got too far, so I've never seen that before.

I also have a feeling it might drop at some point next week. We have an official trailer for them now so they can't exactly be delayed AGAIN like many sceptics here are saying. We can only hope for them next week whatever day it is

Most certainly looks like the Yacht is a Remastered Version of the Max Payne 3 Yacht (never played Max Payne 3, maybe I should). A good thing really since it requires less work from R* to produce the model for the Interior since they do not need to design it from scratch...so there is hope that if they follow a similar theme of adapting Interiors we could get them some day. Mainly since I do not see them producing any Interiors from scratch unless part of a SP DLC.

 

Will be interesting to see if the Aircraft Carrier Interior is similar to that in GTA SA.

 

 

Do you honestly think its too hard for them to make new models and interiors? They created an entire state full of marvelous things but cant make a new boat?? They use it as an "easter egg" and to pay homage to other games by Rockstar. You see this often in many gaming and movie companies. Pixar would be a great example.

 

 

Is it hard, of course not they know what they are doing. Does it save time and money, yes.

 

A from scratch Interior will need to have concept art (or models developed), buy in from multiple sources as to wherever or not it is what they want/expecting, the particulars of the Interior/Model need to be sorted out and so on and so forth...Clearly it is much easier just providing a HD Version of an existing Interior/Model. This also keeps fans happy by bringing back (for example) existing Vehicles and in the case of the Yacht can provide an Easter Egg.

The thing about Domislive is that everyone knows that he gets his information from other's, and I don't think he tries to deceive people into thinking he finds it all himself. But he does a good job of displaying it, and giving us as much information as he can.

 

Shut up, the guy makes videos over topics found on this forum by leakers without their permission, many leakers have complained that he steals it and is only recently giving them credit. Granted that really means nothing in the end, hes just a shady dude that shouldn't be making videos because he doesn't deserve it. Don't stand up for a person who you dont know all the info about.Steals it? They don't own the code. I don't watch his videos, but I don't see anything wrong with what he does. Basically a news reporter.Actually he is much better than a news reporter. At least he doesnt travel the world to find topics for the purpose of scare mongering, claiming it to be real. There was a great doco we were shown at Uni in a human geo paper I did. It compared the reporters 'facts' to actual pair reviewed finding and/or investigations. All the reports had errors in their reports and most had huge errors and miss quoted statements. News Reports are solely there for the purpose of improving viewings and therefore increased revenue. They have very little interest in actually sharing information. One can not ever quote the news as fact (which most people do) but rather as a guide for you to investigate further should you wish.

 

Ive have witnessed this in my workplace as well. Ive been to a number of press conferences whereby what was said In the news article or newspaper article is very different and usually completely incorrect to what actually happened and/or said at the press conference.

 

Im not saying that you tubers aint the same but there tends to be more of a crowd base monitoring system whereby a youtubers career can come crashing down ever so quickly by miss reporting. Therefore most of the more prominant youtubers tend to report much more factual 'news'.

Correcting myself with a comparison, they spaced out the windows and changed some textures, but you can see it's still essentially the same.

 

Still, now I guess there's no doubt that interior belongs to the yacht. I wonder if the rest of the ship is also similar.

That's only in certain countries, mainly the US. There are some real dumbasses working for news stations there. I remember one of their 'experts' said a huge British city consisted solely of foreigners and that actual britons were a minority... on CNN. And of course you have thousands of news stations out there all bombarding you with 'news', one less reliable than the next. Over here in Europe that's virtually non exsistant.

This is nothing new. It's been known for a while that the yacht was copied from Max Payne 3. It's on GTA Wiki and frankly there's nothing really wrong with them re-using assets for one boat. But of course we haven't been able to compare interiors before the heist screenshots and trailer came out.

It's not all of us have ever played Max Payne either. That said, I don't care really, I'd rather them repurpose a viable texture set and focus on making the heists as problem free (No 'Uncompletable heists' bugs.) I like new interiors, but the fact people prioritise new textures over the actual gameplay is just stupid and helps perpetuate the notion that the gaming industry is going to sh*t because people will buy a broken game as long as it's pretty.

I dont think it had an interior in GTA there's a window on the left side of the ship thats see through or not there at all and you see right through to the sea, use the super jump cheat during the mission to check it out and move the camera...

My yacht thoughts:

 

If one was to produce a movie and included a yacht. Maybe one they borrowed or rented. Say it was a friends and he or she loaned it to you for your movie scene.

 

 

A year or so later you're doing another movie and in that movie a yacht scene is needed. Do you not obtain the previously loaned yacht.

 

Say if you owned said yacht. Do you not just use what you own.

 

I think it's logical and perfectly fine they use a yacht they already "own".

 

Just my thoughts on this.
