Andreas
It is a fair price. The claim that the game is one and a half years old by the time it launches for the PC, holds no water in my view. V originally launched in September 2013, yes, but the PC version will be a huge upgrade upon the original release. Now, I wouldn't expect it to be much better than the Xbox One and PS4 releases, but I'm certain that there will be considerable differences. And even if not, being able to use mouse and keyboard, and playing it at a better frame rate is reason enough for me to purchase it for the PC, even if it costs €60. 60 Euro/USD isn't a lot if you consider that this is a game that provides you with hundreds of hours of fun. I spend more money than that when I go to an event, to have fun for just a few hours. LawasDS
A fair price to me would be 25$ taking its a 2 year old game. (But we all know this ain't gonna happen...) And the people who are justifing the 60$ price because "its the new PC version". Its the same f*cking game released in 2013 with unlocked features. Would you pay 60$ if suddenly Valve bought the Medievil franchise and put it up for sale on Steam? (60$ per medievil game, not the whole franchise) It supports 4k and 1080p and it has a couple new side missions and some higher res textures. Well, your answer, unless you are an ultra die hard blind medievil fan, might be 100% f*ck NO. Then why pay 60$ for an old game? Good night. RyanBurnsRed
The most I'd pay for it would be $10. Maybe $20 if I was feeling generous towards them which I don't. Paying full retail price only furthers to cement their business tactics with the PC platform by delaying the release in favor of consoles time and time again. I have no doubt that once Jan. 27th arrives (assuming they don't delay it again at the last minute) GTA V will be #1 in the top sellers section on Steam. But for those of us that remain skeptical, we've got plenty of guinea pigs to take the fall for us. ItsJustMeSrsly
Russian Mafia
In Russia we are selling GTA 5 for ps4/xone for 90$ and for PC now its only 40$ for retail copy, so its worth.
K.Walters
Of course not, but they will sell it for 60$ anyways.

BunnyBoy21
Rockstar expects for PC to sell at least 1 million union sold if that goes successful then they'll make another GTA for PC version, however if it didn't go successful maybe they won't make next GTA for PC only for consoles. Where the hell is your source and or proof of this? This is the most ridiculous amount of bullsh*t I have ever heard. Laqueesha
K20
$60 is more than a fair price. even if its $100 i'd buy it. yeah its been out for over a year, and released on all other platforms before hand. but PC gamers get the most out of it. what with mods, trainers ETC. thats the way i see it. IV took me 4 years before i cut down playing it, modified cars, ice enhancer, trainers, map mods. etc etc. V's world is HUGE. possibilities are endless. so fukc yeah, $60 is cheap for the PC version. jdwarfer
60 euros is not fair at all, especially for returning players. I finished the game on 360. On PC it's the same, just with a few improvements. Damn it, 60 euros is not far from what I paid for the special edition. And now, a standard one cost 60? As I'm returning from old gen? Not fair, so I decided to find the best price. I pre-ordered it for 37 euros on some legit key supplier. I could pay the full price if I didn't have the game already on old gen. This makes the difference. It's not new for me.
_MK_
This masterpiece is worth every penny.Do not agree with the folks who say that we should get it for a cheaper price or wait for sales..that will just weaken us in terms of sales then they'll have another excuse to be worse than they already are. Candy_Licker
Of course it is (granted it's a good version) I don't get it, just because some other dudes played it on some other platform it's worth less? Yeah if I'd already played it on another console, it wouldn't be worth 60$ for me. There are very very few games that offer the amount of quantity and quality at the sime time like GTA does. I rather wonder how people can spend that amount of cash for a "brand new" game that only offers 10 hours of entertainment Kampret and Johnny Sins

Some people just can't let go of the negativity. You, sir, are the one who's sad to my (and plenty of others) eyes. The game is worth $60. EVERY GTA is worth every dollar. Bonaldo
$60? That's expensive as f*ck for a PC game It should be $40 tops But considering that it's a game from 2013 it should be $20 - $30 ItsJustMeSrsly and DaRkL3AD3R
fdiuhywsu
Absolutely not, I'm not gonna pay more than 15 euro for a game that's so old, I also recently bought a few games old like GTA V or even more recent and I paid them all less than 5 euro, so there's not a single reason I should pay more than 15 for GTA V. This is also what Rockstar deserves for the treatment we got. stcro1, DaRkL3AD3R and GAMIR_GTA
LawasDS
It seems like nobody saw my question. ___ Would you pay 60$ if for example DmC Devil May Cry came out to the PC next month? (Released 25 January 2013) IT HAS 1080p and 4K support and A BIT HIGHER RES TEXTURES AND NEW SECONDARY MISSIONS! And remember, it's a new game cos you haven't played it on the PC yet. It doesn't mater it released 2 years ago and that Ps3 and Xbox 360 users have already sold it to buy other games or get tired of playing it for ages already, YOU HAVEN'T PLAYED IT ON THE PC GAME, SO IT'S NEW AND YOU SHOULD PAY FULL PRICE. But yo, remember the game is EXACTLY THE SAME. It just has some minor additions ______ And as a fact, this is really happening, but it will be coming to PS4 and XBONE rather than PC. http://blog.us.playstation.com/2014/12/15/dmc-definitive-edition-coming-to-ps4-on-march-17th-2015/ My answer would be 500% f*ck NO. And my answer to paying 72$ (60€) for GTA V in PC is also 500% f*ck NO. DaRkL3AD3R
Adelthorne
I dont know about you guys, But Im from Sweden, games have Always cost tons of Money, In the 90th a game would cost around 300-350 Swedish Crowns = 38,4$, Today 500 is very common, = 64$. And the only way around it is buy on sale 2-3 years after or Piratebay. Non of those are for me. And as some one told above here said he was fine with 2$ per hour of game play. I would wish that the game was cheaper, but its not the World we living in. I bought GTA 4 twice, last year on sale on Steam, and when it was almost new, but change computer since about 3 times, so the original Went with the old computer. So I like to have my games on Steam, not the cheapest way to buy. But all games in same Place. I like R-star games, not their attitude towards us PC-gamers but they do solid and entertaining games. And when I play games I want to be entertained. LawasDS
Yogensia
Yeah $60 seems quite reasonable for the amount of content in the game, at least if you haven't bought it on consoles already. If you have and you want it on PC as well it's your call. As for the time it's taken to come to PC, it sure has but i haven't played it once so as much as it pisses me off to be always the last guy in the queue, i think the price is fine. I wouldn't mind paying $50 instead but $60 is OK. However i'll pay in € so it will probably be 60€ for me if i go with steam, which i haven't decided yet. Anyway, if anyone wants it cheaper there's always steam sales. I'm not entirely confident they will put it on sale this spring (although it could happen), but in summer it's a bit more likely. And in the meantime there's retail sales every now and then too.
Dock
How much you think the game is worth will not deter R* from pricing it at $60 because there is a good bit of additional content such as the replay editor, first person mode (which is not some cheap camera trick, it was worked on ground up with apparently 1000+ animations), better textures, 4K resolution support, more vehicles (for returning players albeit). I don't mind paying $60 for the PC version, I own it on my 360 and PS3 (yes, 3), and I have not once said, "I regret paying full price again." Am I R* fan? Hell yes, but still, GTA is one of those games that have a lot of re playability and is worth paying for. And while it may not be fair paying $60 now, R* is still a company and they need to make money. You can't say that the billion dollars they made is enough, because they have other games to develop, salaries to pay, marketing costs, servers to run, etc. A lot of people will cough up the $60, including me, because I feel like this game deserves it. If you feel it isn't worth $60, feel free to wait for a price drop or sale in nearly a year or so perhaps. I certainly won't mind a $50 tag or a cut in pre order costs for people who own previous GTA titles (on steam at least) though.
skoar
I will buy the game at launch and give negative review to the game even if the game is good, then the game will be 50% off at steam summer sale More Negative Reviews = More Discount/Less Price. Performer
I'll get it for 40 € anyway. There are enough trusted keysites online where you can get at least 20 € off of ANY new game. Never had issues and always got cheap steam games: If you buy steam only, check MMOGA or something first.

RedIndianRobin
It's 40$ in India which is 2500 INR on flipkart. I'm okay with that. However 60$ is unjustified for a 2 and a half year old game.
