Dropping weapons does not work!

The only weapon I can't drop is the stupid musket.

Can you drop ammo? Make sure you are in an open area.

 

Works for me... in fact, I do it on accident quite often.

Y is the same button to drop a weapon as it is to enter a car... so yeah. I have bought the Special Carbine like 3 times because of dropping it while entering a car and having the weapons menu open.

the common low-tier weapons you just pick up again if you run over a cop/goon's dead body.

 

Dropping works for me just fine if I'm in an open area.

I don't think you can drop dlc weapons that are limited (musket, gusenberg etc.) I think...

I've been trying to drop a petrol canister as shooting it a) doesn't kill you and b) is totally hilarious, but I kept getting a message telling me that I can't drop it.

Could be where you're standing. The area has to be completely flat.

You cannot drop:

Any limited time weapons (sweeper, firework launcher, musket)

The pistol (one Lamar gives you at the start of GTA O)

Tried the flat surface, it doesn't work.

I can't drop ammor or any weapon.
