Whoa! Dinka Thust's Speed Was Nerfed?!

Strange, my Bati was faster than my Thrust by 12 seconds on a over 3 mile long track. I remember the Thrust used to be the fastest land vehicle while doing a wheelie. I don't know if the snow has anything to do with the speed or was it actually nerfed. who-dat, what is this "wheelie glitch" you're speaking of?

seeing as how the snow sertainly is not purely cosmetical nothing you did or "tested" is worth anything, sorry

It's all good. There is a lot of confusion about the vehicle speeds. The turbo bug, and the speedometers have really thrown people for a loop. I personally don't think the Speedos are correct at all and are just for looks.

The current lap times don't lie however, cars seem to be very close if not exactly the same on new gen.

I've been playing on nextgen, and I can't notice a real difference between lap times. Of course, I hadn't played much since after the festive update (due to the turbo bug) so that's where my information got mixed up.

I haven't been able to match my ps3 lap times on ps4 or even get close really. I'm not sure if I just suddenly lost skill, can't deal with the controller change or what. But I amdoing like 55s on cutting corners I'm the same turismo that would do 53s on ps3. It just seems more skatey and slidey than before.

About the Thrust i can confirm it's nerfed for a 100%, had one since it came out.

Tested it before the turbo was fixed and after in the dry on the airfield and it's much slower then before. When you drove normal no wheelie or leaning forwards it had almost the same pace as the top supercars and when you started to wheelie it, it was just gone. When you did a wheelie with it, it just destroyed the supercars and if you try it out now wheelie from standstil it can't even keep up for a bit. Even the Nemesis is faster now, it's just ridiculous. I remember driving with my crewmates on the highway Hakuchou vs Thrust, Thrust was faster every time. Try it out now, Hakuchou is just gone. Hope they fix it one day...

Yes, and from a physics point of view it's totally a glitch. It acts in a what counter to actual real world behavior. Considering that basically everyhting else is proper, that makes it a glitch.

The Thrust used to be the fastest land vehicle. I have the world record for The Commute and Obstacle What on the 360. Now, it's not the fastest anymore. It must've been patched/nerfed with that Festive Update.

Lap times are the same on both old gen and new gen on speed tracks like Long Haul. Top speed is exactly the same.

I am not trolling lol. That video was made when Turbos were still bugged. They didn't patch it until the Festive Surprise.

 

That youtuber was mistaken. He wasn't racing a top speed track anyways.
