jojo337
Hi everybody. I can't find a solution. Some years ago I posted GTA IV videos on Youtube... 5 years OMGOMG. All my GTA IV videos are with a bad format when playing on Youtube, the video is "dwarfed" ... I made the videos with the ingame editor. They shows 1440p but the original source is 720p... Like one year or two before they were normal on Youtube. I searched for similar videos from others guys and same problem for some of them : (screen maybe ? http://www.noelshack.com/2015-01-1420139360-klmk.png ) No problems here : (But it seems that they edited a bit with an other video editor...) Is it the same for you ? I'm on the last Firefox with windows 7 but I don't think it is my computer... Thanks you ! EvilDog77
The vids that GTA IV outputs are a bit weird. They don't always play smoothly on my player, but you should still be able to transcode them in a video editor. Use Movie Maker. It's free and doesn't take long to transcode vids at all. That's about all it's good for.
Spider-Vice
In order for the output video to be proper, your game resolution must be either exactly 720p or 1080p, not more, not less, not in the middle, otherwise the game will up/downscale them without taking aspect ratio into account. jojo337
Thanks for the answers ! In fact those videos are old... but anyway it's a bit fustrating because it's not really viewable.. Those videos were OK like one year before on the same link, there is a codec problem with youtube I think. I don't want to repost them (anyway I don't have the real sources anymore since I posted them), so I think they will be like this for a long time... Also I could put them on Vegas ... I tried to contact youtube but I'm unlucky The worse is that when I download them from youtube, they appears ok on my PC Thanks you anyway. (Sorry for my english)
jojo337
Hi, just if somebody got the same problem ??? It's old videos, it seems that youtube "downgrade" the quality of old videos that are not viewed a lot, the problem is that gta IV videos are in a certain format and don't support it well... When I download my video from my youtube account, the videos are fine in my computer, if I donwload them on a youtube downloader website, they look like the first post... Problem is that some of the videos contains "bad musics" and so Youtube don't let me re download those videos.
