I was driving around mount josiah and I came across this... An AI jet just randomly parked on the side of the mountain?

Ive also encountered it before, see one of my previous posts.

 

Basically its a jet flewn by an AI from Zancudo. It probably happens when someone stolen a jet from Zancudo and the AI jet is in pursuit. The pursued player gets rid of the wanted level and the AI jet lands on a nearby hill, I dont think the AI pilot actually lands, then it would be more common. Most likely he just stops giving thrust and slowly descend and since there are a lot of hills there is a probablity it wont be as a crash but a safe landing. The landing gears might go out automatically when the AI jet gets close to the ground as a part of how its programmed.

I've run across this once, but the jet was badly damaged.

Only on the 360 have I seen jets parked randomly around LS. A player was spawning them and crashing into buildings and hills. Basically anything that was in his way. He crashed into it.

Yeah on last gen once. It happend after flying over the militairy base and then landing on the top of the mountain. When i reversed the jet and it fell off the cliff and i died, i respawned and all the sudden a jet was parked like 30ft away.

 

This was over 2 months ago though.
