I put SUV tyres on my Sultan, but I dunno how much more grip it gave me, changes are subtle. Driving skill is key.

OP, I actually purchased another Rancher XL a week or so before the holiday snow to use in the snow. It is indeed a fun vehicle.

 

 

I personally been enjoying the Jester RACECAR with off road tires in town too. Then again I use so many vehicles in the snow. More then I normally use. The ooh wonder how this drives mentality.
