I've been noticing a trend in the people who are not affected, your join date on these forums are after the Valentine's Day DLC ended. That is probably why some people are not affected, as the Rockstar stated reason for the issue has do with that dlc and owning masks from it. Of the three players (me included) I know who have been around since November 2013 and probably own at least on of the masks, every one of them has an issue after the DLC came out. I was somehow able to use the old Christmas DLC clothes and masks a day or two before the released the current Festive DLC, so I had a feeling that there was going to be some bug (as there always is). This shouldn't affect anyone who joined GTA Online after the Valentine's Day DLC came out.

You say that it would've been fixed for most people which in turn means that it would have been fixed for some people here as well. Why has no one come foward to confirm that? Doesn't this forum represent the GTA community?

Nah...I don't think it has anything to do with Valentine's Day. That's the excuse Rockstar gave. I think for some of us the Festive Masks are buggy as hell. I'm just glad I bought them all on my secondary character and not my primary. Cause I would not be as calm about this crap. I'm also hoping that when they remove the Festive Masks, that will fix the issue.

 

If it persists after the Festive Event...that's when I will stop being calm about it.

Rockstar if you watching. Please be sure this gets fixed ASAP. I suppose if it sorts itself after the Festive crap is taken then great. However im very skeptical that will solve it. It's gonna take you guys repeating the bug and then working backwards to resolve. Being such a random and rare thing. It may renders many people's characters broken for a long time.

I also agree with this as I have the problem on my characters created in October 2013 AND my PSN ID I

created at the end of March 2014 which has no Valentines Day content and the problem exists on both

profiles on the PS3 at least so I really can't accept their response that it is the Valentines Day content

because I shouldn't have an issue on my 2nd ID if that was the case.

 

I really hope the next update to remove the Xmas content does fix this issue but I am not convinced it will at this stage...

This is my take on it also.

 

The fact it is clearly being swept under the rug basically shows how poor R*s communication with the player-base has become. They did the same thing with people reporting Trees were not moving on PS4/Xbone and this effected everyone (albeit not as annoying as having no Interaction Menu) and they still would not acknowledge the issues. Festive Update drops, Fixed.

 

What gets me, is how this only effects certain people (it seems a lot of certain people) and not others. I have purchased all Masks, work them and all good on PS4.

This glitch is also affecting Womens Valentines Day DLC Clothes, you die and you spawn into different clothes.

Gotta love the ignorance in the first few pages; "doesn't affect me, so it's a non-issue/it's a lie!". Lol. Remove your heads from your behinds, gents. This is a game-breaking issue that's affected ALOT of people. Just because you're one of the lucky few not affected, doesn't mean it's not real/important.

 

And R* trying to sweep it under the carpet is def something that should be brought up. I'm amazed at the level of stupidity on display from you people, I really am.

I do believe it's the Valentines DLC, the exact same thing used to happen when I tried modding it in. It only effected the female character though, male had no issues.

Still I used all maskes and I have worn the dresses but nothing. Why? It's a no isse for me but other sso why? Oh and I quit after Feb valentine's DLC came out so....(came back for the PS4 though)

Well I think it will be fixed on the 6th.. A few days ago I tried to get online and I got the missing files message. When I got online I was in random clothing and all the festive items were gone from my game, even the snow. My interaction menu was actually working.

There was a bypass patch glitch where if you started SP before signing in to psn any patches would be bypassed. SInce the servers were goin crazy I think this is what happened.

And I believe my game was temp fixed because I was able to get online without the festive files.

Ofcourse once I restarted my console and it loaded correctly the problem came back.

This glitch blows. Makes me worry it'll happen to me because of crate drops, masks, DLC vehicles I have purchased..

Meh...that does me no good given I buy everything for both my characters. Which is how I got into this predicament.

Otherwise it's likely to return next xmas to ruin the game for the holidays again...

Well lesson learned for me...Don't rush and buy everything in one go. Look to see on this forum if the crap is bugged out. Edited by Miss Malevolent
