R trying to sweep interaction bug under the table

I've just finished reinstalling the game updates and install data/profile on the PS3 and the phone froze on me

again the moment I called the mechanic in online so that renders PS3 unplayable, hope this hasn't affected

my PS4 online game.

 

To give you all an idea what happens is I call the mechanic and you should hear his voice message then

you get the car menu, select your car and he says goodbye and phone call ends and the phone disappears.

 

In my case there is no audio file at the start after dialing the mechanic and it just give me the car list I select

the car and it disappears but the phone call stays connected and I can''t end the call and no car is delivered.

 

Oh and interaction menu stopped working...again.

To me it sounds like it's another issue. From what tails and others have described it is something else. I had the interactive menu/performance drop issue and it has been fixed.

 

Also, make tickets, not threads. Be descriptive with your issue and don't be obnoxious or spam.

hmm.. funny how this seems to not be bugging some people. i myself have not had any issues at all with the interaction menu.

 

 

i'm on XB360 BTW.

"A small number"...yep, that's an epidemic there. 144 complaints? They sold a million f*cking games, dude....if it affected 10,000 players, it still wouldn't put a scratch in the overall player base. You're far overstating the problem.

It affects all consoles who purchased items from the festive season dlc.

 

 

It does NOT affect "all consoles whoi purchased items from the festive season dlc". Absolutely 100% does not. I purchased everything and am fine. I know many other people who purchased everything and are fine.

 

It's (once again) a very small percentage of people affected. Sorry if you are, but that's the facts.

Its funny how everytime you see someone make a thread about a bug or an issue with their game theres always a couple douchebags without the issue that have to put their 2 cents in even though it does not involve them whatsoever.

 

If it doesnt affect you..f*ckin great congratulations. As you can see there are still people whose games are f*cked up because of this. You want us to be good lil rockstar fan boys and keep quiet about it. Godforbid R makes a mistake.

I haven't a problem...I'm simply correcting someone making a grandiose statement about an issue affecting very few. You're just pissed because your game isn't working right yet. I feel for you, but it's simply not that big of a deal for most players, sorry.

Ok well this thread isnt directed at most players. It is directed at those still affected by the bug and for those of us it is a big deal so kindly GTFO.

KingChivas, you are correct. Nobody I know has heard of the problem or understand what is being addressed here, but if it is a major problem and many are unable to use the game functionally I think address of grievance is warranted, not just marking it resolved.

 

It would help us greatly if the problem could be explained in its entirety also to prevent others from befalling the same fate.

When Rockstar marks things "resolved", it only means that the vast majority of people aren't having the issue anymore. From reading this forum and other places, there are countless issues that have occurred since launch that have been resolved for most everyone, but still affect some players regardless. That's not to say they shouldn't be fixed or can't be fixed, but just that games like this can be a bit buggy no matter what you do to them. I'd assume that the few still having this issue will see the problem disappear once the next update comes. I know that's not a huge consolation for those still affected, but it's all they can do outside of opening tickets and hoping that it stops before then.

I completely understand. My point was, if someone is still having the problem they should be allowed to have an open ticket instead of it just being quickly marked "resolved" by R*.

That's not what happened (at least that's not what was described). Rockstar marked the issue resolved on their support page, not on OP's tickets. I don't even know if OP opened a ticket after this or not.

That's not what happened (at least that's not what was described). Rockstar marked the issue resolved on their support page, not on OP's tickets. I don't even know if OP opened a ticket after this or not.

That appears to be so yes. If this was a major fix then it should've been fixed for at least a few people here, who had previously made it known here they had this problem ofcourse.

Basically when we press select to access our interaction menu the framerate drops severly and the menu never actually pops up. To stop the lag you have to die or leave. So we have gone without our interaction menu since the masks released.

My main character suffers from this. After the recent update My son bought and equipt the masks with no issues. So I was thinking it was fixed and went and got the masks. Instantly getting the bug. Interaction menu won't open and upon trying the frame rates drop to literally skip skip skip type rates. I was completely gutted as that is where all my favorite cars are. Glad I have a ranked up second character to still enjoy.

 

Why this isn't fixed or even happened is rediculous. No reason for it to be random.

 

One thing I can note. My main character couldn't put a crew logo on jackets for the longest time. Maybe those characters that adopted early and had this issue are being effected. Maybe not related.

Yes its an issue. The fact that they say its fixed is bullsh*t.

 

My Interaction Menu is still non-existent, if I hold down select, it causes frame rate issues.

This occured just the other day, right after aquiring all of the FREE masks from the Festive event.

 

In the article, Rockstar states that it was the Valentine's Day masks that were removed because its what was affecting the menu.

 

Umm, no it wasn't. I bet if they removed the Festive masks instead it would actually be resolved. But what do I know?

 

I've had to learn to use workarounds. Theres no coronas to get into my apts, so I use the start menu and 'options' to change my spawn point when entering online to access my garages and apts. I fly to an Ammunation to buy Armor before chasing a crate down. Use the Mechanic instead of 'Request Personal Vehicle'. Use a vending machine if I want full health, because snacks are inaccesible. The list goes on...

You say that it would've been fixed for most people which in turn means that it would have been fixed for some people here as well. Why has no one come foward to confirm that? Doesn't this forum represent the GTA community?
