R trying to sweep interaction bug under the table

Guys R has marked this issue as resolved.

We need anyone with this issue to get together and flood the support page with threads...

 

I just made 2 threads asking why its marked as resolved when it clearly is not and they were removed within 60 seconds!!!!

 

They are trying to say now they fixed it as of the 30th and removed valentines masks in order to fix it. We know dam well the masks were removed before the 30th and were actually removed with the 1.20 update...

 

Please guys help out if you can. I know many were not affected but many of us still have this issue.

just because you aren't affected by it doesn't mean others aren't. like me, for example, and it's a bloody pain in the ass. if R* really won't fix this i'll either have to build up an entirely new character, or just stop playing.

This issue has affected me and many other players, I'm not sure what their intentions are here, or if the temporary removal of the said masks will even do anything.

I can safely say they have NOT resolved the interaction menu bug as my PS3 online lobby just froze on me

because I had accidentally pressed Select, I have not tried on PS4.

 

My ticket on the issue does not seem to have been registered so make of that what you will..

 

EDIT: Just marked their support article as unhelpful.

The only mask I have is the gingerbread head. I only got it 'cause I like biscuits (not cookies, biscuits aka correct term :p ). No issues for me on 360.

I believe hopefully it will be fixed on the 6th but why are they clearly lying to us saying the issue has been resolved.

Confused. I'm playing now and I still have my Valentine's mask AND I still have the menu bug.

Yeah its not game changing, i mean who needs to eat a snack during a battle, and who needs to equip armor during a battle. I mean i paid for all masks with hard earned money and time, so i guess i dont need to change masks when i want to enjoy things i paid for and worked hard to enjoy. I guess its my fault for wanting to enjoy this game...

 

 

It isn't game changing so it doesn't need to be fixed until the next patch

It isn't game changing so it doesn't need to be fixed until the next patch

 

 

Sums up my thoughts, its incredibly difficult to win at survival without the Interaction menu in the later stages.

I only have the stupid baby mask now aka cupid mask. Where the f*ck is my mysterious masks. Rockstar assholes as ever. They were limited edition.

The interaction menu holds an abundance of features used regularly by players. And the primary reason for this thread is not about the interaction menu being faulty, but by the fact R* has marked the issue as resolved without actually resolving the issue.

 

@stangone50: with my experience with the platinum awards issue we had a few months back, they do tend to mark those issue as resolved even though they're not in the game yet. Probably because it has been fixed already on the dev side but will only take affect when the next patch is downloaded on our side. Or unless they tested it with purchased masks disappearing that originally caused the problem and works fine after that in which case it will be fine for all of us on the 6th. Either way, bloody annoying bug this has been over the festive season.

I have not had this happen. My menu just does not come up at all unless I do the gang attack trick. Ive left it alone till I was booted out of the session and still does not pop up. I have another account on the same console and there is no issues there but on my main account both characters are having the issue.

I had to quit my session because of the phone not working just loading up to try again and see if its still present,

 

I guess we'll say this many times yet but why oh why when R* think they fix something they break something else at the same time?

 

EDIT @ 16:36 - GREAT! Game freezes EVERY time I bring up the mobile phone - what the hell has gone on with

this fix?

Hmm probably unrelated but back in 2013 there was a phone bug that affected both SP and MP. You would try to open the phone and your HUD would disappear and you would not be able to switch characters in SP. R also claimed to patch this but it actually went months without fixing. R solution was to delete your game and start over lol

It affects all consoles who purchased items from the festive season dlc.

Maybe a small percentage of people but it did happen on ALL consoles.

If 30 million people play and only 1 percent is affected thats still 300, 000 players which is quite alot.

That's what blows my mind. 360 or PS4 it has never been an issue and I gotta ask WHY is it not an issue I purposely had my female wear dresses and masks and no issues that I can tell at all. Why is it effecting only some people?
