Skin Colour GTA Online Old Gen

Hey guys, this sounds like a rather strange question or request, but I was curious if there was a way to change your skin colour in GTA Online? I have a pretty good character, but I want to change the skin colour on him however I don't want to create a new character and start again as such.

 

Is this possible? I doubt it, but worth an ask

There was an option to change your character's appearance, i.e edit the (grand)parents heritage, which affects skin colour. Hopefully someone remembers how to access it once you have an established avatar.

You need to do the Edit Character glitch. Sadly though I forgot how do you *exactly* do it but all I remember is that you need a secondary character to delete and recreate it again.

Talk to any plastic surgeon in Los Santos and they might know someone who has a technique to change your skin color/Race to a more prefered one than what you were born with. They do boob and nose jobs after all. So skin color should be out by now.

You'll have to do the appearance glitch which you'll have to google, as it involves a little too much detail much to explain on a short post. However, if you're on last gen in order to change skin color you'll have to change heritage (grandparents) which will in turn change the way your character looks.

I can sum it up in a very short paragraph.

 

Create 2nd character, level it up to level 6.

Leave GTA Online, go to Swap Character.

Choose 2nd character, screen comes up asking if you want to change your appearance, pull out the internet cable (if wired) or turn off router (If wireless). It should kick you back to GTA V, plug cable/router back in, swap to main character... You did it, can be done any time you like as long as you don't use that 2nd character anymore.

My idea made more sense since folks think skin color and race are the exact same thing. Just go find a Dr. to complain to that you hate being a certain color and ask them to fix your color/race.

So basicly

Create second character

Complete the tutorial

Leave GTA Online and go to single player

Now go to Online -> Join GTA Online

While you are in sky, there should be a text "Do you want to affect your character apperance?)

Pull out your ethernet cable or log out of PSN/XBL

Sign in and when you are in single player, go to Online -> Choose character

Choose your main character

The text "Do you want to affect your character apperance?" should appear, click X/A on it

Edit you character and save it

And it's done
