@mouaz nsb - Well, I had quite a few people messaging me all around about the sequel to the Runaway back in 2011 when I was finishing it aswell and I actually thought about it a lot and made up my mind back then that it's not going to happen.

The reason why it's not going to happen is because I'm very proud of the Runaway as a stand alone mission pack and I'm still very grateful people played it back then so much and are still playing it to this day. I just don't want to ruin that. Sequels almost never end well because there is almost never a good continuation of the plot. As a creator of the Runaway, it's my opinion that I squeezed every little ounce of what the plot I created for the Runaway has to give and there is really no point in continuing it. Some things just have to stay the way they were initially planned, you know :) I hope you're not too disappointed though. I mean, it's questionable whether or not I'll continue my DYOM career after this mission pack, so.. :)

Keep it the way it is as a stand alone, it has that special exclusive feel to it when there aren't a million sequels to it.

I find "GTA Prisonbreak" to be quite similar to The Runaway in a way, It's by Jimmy and its a runaway story with a lot of twists and cliffhangers like The Runaway. So I'd recommend checking that out.

By the way, I'm really enjoying this MP. There's a lot going on and I like that. Waiting for more missions!

@Notna - Word, man, word :D

@The Odyssey - I'm glad you like the mission pack so far, bro. First two missions of chapter 4 are coming tomorrow. Stay tuned :) Also, I know most of the people who are playing this MP ''on the go'' as I upload the missions won't do this later on, but I actually recommend that after it's done, you play all of it in a row because, as you said, there's a lot going on and believe me, a lot more will stack on top of the current situation until the end and it will be very hard to follow it since there's always gonna be a gap between my uploading of the missions, so.. If you can follow it like this, I salute you, but honestly, after chapter 4 is over and chapter 5 starts, you will wrap your head around left and right. That's gonna suck a bit, but hey, I gave all of you a recommendation on what to do later on. :D

@Tohka - Cool, bro :D

@GalacticXp1 - Yeah, man. I didn't leave just yet ;) Cool, looking forward to your feedback.

Update: Missions 25, 26, 27 and 28 uploaded. Sorry for the delay, that's why I'm uploading 4 missions today :) Play the missions, have fun and give me feedback, guys :)

The pace and time and rate you put high quality missions out is just beyond to me. It's unbelievable.

Anyway, starting this as soon as possible. Not really planning on leaving this chair today after yesterdays matches and stuff lol

To be honest, when I want to do something, I do it efficiently because otherwise it would be a waste of time, so yeah, I'm glad people recognize the devotion I'm putting in this :) And that's great to hear, bro. Looking forward to your feedback. Get well soon - I'll only say - Chicks dig scars ;)

My feedback for Chapter 1

Nice cutscenes

well done with the dialogues

Realistic story

Like the way your making the story, it makes me feel like I was playing Missions from the actual game, keep up the good work

I´ll give you an 8/10 for this chapter

@Platinum Card - Yeah, I was thinking the same thing. I'll suggest that as a let's play series to Lnd after it's finished since I've already asked him to take on another mission pack of mine after he finishes with his projects he planned before that, so.. And thanks, I appreciate the support, man :)

@Adam - Believe it or not, I thought about it, but it seemed completely irrational and unjustified, so I went with a different approach. You'll understand the whole picture after the mission pack is done, don't worry :)

Time and the game are not on my side, not enough time to play all and the game crashed a billion times after missions.

Anyhow, I'll keep this short but I already think that even though I only played through the first chapter and half of the second, this one is your masterpiece. Out of all your storylines, this has kept me the most excited and really driven to get to the next mission (f*ck crashes). I could go a day talking about the storylines which are gold, instead I'll complain about the only thing there is to complain - compared to your older mission packs, I felt like the cutscene camera angles were off place at times.

Nonetheless, awesome work, I'll play more when I'm able to.

Thanks on the quick feedback, bro :D And thanks on the kind words.

Now, about the camera angles, I don't actually get it, maybe if you have CLEO 4.3. then that's because of it since I'm working in CLEO 4.1 or maybe cause we have different PC's so it reacts differently. I can't influence that unfortunately, sorry to hear that the camera angles are screwed up, that's the one thing I was sure it's fine. Well, Nonetheless, since you said it's a masterpiece, then I'm satisfied with the way it's turning out :D Sure, play when you have time and post a feedback.

Many more missions to go, guys, so stay tuned. :)

Happy to say that Edge of High Life supports First Person mode...well i think.

Scott blake's missions work just fine with FPM. i'm not sure about the other protagonists though.

I haven't tested the mod with their missions.

Update: 31st and 32nd mission uploaded. Chapter 4 is complete and I uploaded a ZIP file of chapter 4 aswell. The link to it is in the first post. Chapter 5 is on the way.

Have fun, play the missions and give me feedback, guys :)

I don't want to sound street but this stuff is legit. It's fair to say that this is your greatest work and that's saying hella lot because that simply means it's the best work in DYOM.

This story is so god damn awesome. The best part of this mission pack? It's only half way through.

Holy sh*t, I didn't expect you playing all 8 missions within an hour. First of all, thanks a lot, man. I'm very happy that it actually attracted so many people in a short amount of time and the fact older/experienced designers support Edge of High Life this much as well as the new ones, I can't say how overwhelmed and at the same time happy I am :)

To address the other part of your comment - I'm actually pretty impressed it took you less than an hour to complete the fourth chapter since it has probably one of the hardest missions I've ever made and it's pretty much almost impossible to complete it without cheating, the ''Federal concern'' mission. Even I wasn't able to complete it 99% of the tries. :)

Anyway, chapter 5 is on the way already. I can also say I didn't have to alter the plot until now, not once. I only had to alter the destination once due to bugs at the originally planned destination, but that didn't affect the plot and it's pretty irrelevant what it actually is, so.. Stay tuned for the upcoming missions, guys. FIrst two missions of chapter 5 are coming out on Thursday.

Well honestly, the "Federal concern" mission, I would not have passed it so fast if my memory wasn't unbeatable. I immediately understood that what Nate gave were the instructions for the route and when I see stuff like that I never forget it if I don't want to. Then I just took a run for it inside the building and got it done on the second attempt.

Anyway, can't wait for the continuation.
