Has snow effected your racing?

I think I've been handling it well. Did Jump's R Us, nailed most the ramps well in my Turismo R and just simply drove by people spinning out in Entity's and Zentorno's (which btw how the hell are you spinning out in AWD cars?)

 

Placed second in a Sports Classic race with a Pigalle. Took last corner of race to fast and hit the wall, getting passed by a Z-Type.

 

Got first in a Compacts race with my Prairie.

 

Twice had beaten Sanchez's with my fully ungraded Dune Buggy.

 

Won a Dubsta 6X6 race.

 

Placed second in a jet race (and I hate flying jets)

 

Placed first in more heli races.

 

 

During the snow days I've down a fair bit of racing and ranked lowly (4th or under) in maybe 2 out of 10 or 15, and even then it's usually due to being rammed in a standard race. But overall the snow hasn't effected me, hell I been doing better if anything. Probably starting piss off my crew coming first so often. XD

I tried to do an air race, I crashed more time in one race because the viability was near zero than i have in my year and 3 months of playing GTAO.

I just have to be more careful, especially when I drive muscle cars. But still easy to win ( random public sessions aka 721 wins/ 149 loses )

It made racing fun for people who suck at races. But I lost 6 races on my 2nd character because of it. But I finally unlocked all the mods except chrome.

Yes, it did affect me but however it was non-contact races which i had a lot of fun driving last night and i didn't really cared alot when i came in first or second or fifth as i had fun racing with the other races.

 

I started to win more races with them crashing everywhere.

Well it makes to drive to a felt limit rather than a learned limit but otherwise it's not much different.

 

Some guy with 6000 races from the RACE crew rage quit in one race when I passed him though. He challenge me to another race because he reckons catch up was on (it wasn't I was hosting). But he never joined my further invites. So it is affect some .

i actually drive better in the snow because i drive a little bit slower then normal.... it did make my golf game to heck in a hand basket though.

I'm waiting the snow out untill I race again although it is a nice added variable for the races. The snows fun to drift in. Been enjoying the slippery conditions in the sultan.

yes, i've not raced for awhile and never in the snow but i threw away the lead so many times, i was driving slower but still i'd spin out, im not a great driver though but i normally win races, maybe the elegy would be better than the new jester for snow races.

Lol, I won avery race so far in the snow LOL I raced my Caquette for the first time today and laped all the other players :DThe time ran out when I was gonna choose car lol

I love it. I sometimes win because others are struggling while I can handle it, othertimes I lose control and the race. It's just nice to have something new. I just did a flying race that started with 5 people, I was WAY out in front, then 3 of them quit, pussies - I ended up getting a poxie 795 RP. I'm going to miss snow races, I really wish they'd add the option for good, even if they don't make snow lobbies.

Nah...just brake more into corners...if anything, it normally increases my lead, except for this one time in down the drain with some guy reversing into me at the start line and then crashing into me every lap...the low visibility meant i couldn't see him until he hit me

I wouldn't say it's been bad though! Especially on Under The Wing as a GTA race. I finished 2 mins ahead of 2nd place xD

AWD bro w/ turbocharger. I beat Feltzers and those dollar sign cars all day. Best acceleration off the line than any other car. She's my baby. Did so many stunt jumps to get that paint color. Mystical bond between man and machine.

I got over 20 wins in all race types except Rally since the white miracle happened. It really helps you drift and let the tailgaters eat white dust.

I did a Coupe race today that I was randomly invited to, and it was pretty fun, though I suspect the race host & guy I beat was frustrated by it. It was a lap race and on the first lap, very first sharp turn, I overestimated my brakes and went flying off the road. Spent the rest of the race trying to catch back up, and taking it easier on corners! On the third and final lap, I caught a slipstream and rear-ended the leader, but it messed me up and not him. Then two checkpoints from the end I caught another slipstream and was passing him when he decided to try to crash me. We traded paint up to the final 90 degree turn, at which point he went sliding right by it while I braked just enough to do an emergency slow turn and coast to the finish.

 

Glad I finally stored and upgraded an F620 - I don't think this would have been a win with a stock car.
