I hate hate the PS2 Version of San andreas, it's garbage.

Yeah, it's unbearable, thank God that the PC and original Xbox were not like that.

I haven't played the Xbox version, but I have seen a comparison between the PS2 and Xbox versions. The only problem I can see is the loading times on Xbox were awful

I can't spawn near a hospital in IV without shooting the place up. It's fun to watch people shake in terror before I put some lead in their face. What does this say about me?

Come now, it`s still more fun than anything that`s come out in the last 11 years.

-I feel that Game Boy Color port of GTA2 was horrible. Probably the Dreamcast port too.

-I never liked Carl Johnson and Playboy X.

-I was never wasted or busted in GTA:VC (Was wasted once, but I didn't save the game).

-I feel that GTA:Advance is a great game, and is underrated.

I never completed any GTA game 100%

You should try TLAD. The only thing you might not find fun is the 50 seagulls, but it's probably the GTA with the least amount of work needed to get to 100%. Oh, and you need to beat someone in Arm Wrestling :*(

I bought myself an XBL subscription and dived into Online, for the first time since 2013.

I'm having fun.

It's not a game I asked for. It's not a game I wanted. The price we've paid for it with butchered and forsaken SP is unforgivable. Still, I found myself enjoying it, for what it's worth. Missions are enjoyable as they are pretty much all the crime-related stuff that V's SP is missing so badly, customization is nice (safehouses!) and if I treat other players like glorified extras (I'm playing solo most of the time), they don't p*ss me off at all. Since V's SP freeroam is so boring, I guess I'm just happy Online managed to breathe at least some life into the game and gave me an incentive to play it at all. If this is what Rockstar wanted, to force SP fans to play MP by making SP so lackluster... I guess they have succeeded.

Still, that doesn't change the fact that Online should have been a completely separate, standalone project developed by another studio, instead of piggybacking on V and sucking life out of it like a goddamn vampire and I'm still afraid Online will become the standard and main focus on the franchise instead of a fun diversion.

That is what Rockstar should have done from day one!

I must admit that I really liked V back then in September 2013. I used to think that it has most of the features that are lacking in IV, and present in San Andreas. I once preferred V to IV one time as well. It just seems that V was fun for a very short time and it started to get annoying as well. GTA V just lacks the longevity and overall amount of fun that is present in GTA IV.

@HaythamKenway: I must admit that I liked Online quite a bit and it does have lot's of fun missions and criminal activities, but they just slapped it on the GTA V name and put it there to be the main focus of GTA V. IV's MP is fun, but it's not the developer's focus and main priority of that product, but in order to have bits of fun as a break from GTA IV's dark and gritty story with lot's of fun.

.

It took me about 10 days (The time I finished the story for the first time) to realise it wasn't as great as I thought it would've been. GTA IV was the only game I played for about 6 months after release.

Within a day of finishing GTA V's story I went back to playing GTA IV. Says everything.

I only played V for one month (stopped in Mid October 2013). Yet I have played IV constantly (with short breaks) since December 2008.

I went back to play IV after completing V for the first time. I loved it more than ever. I played IV for like 5 months straight. I also went back to play both VC and SA, and preferred them to V. GTA V is a good game and I started to at least appreciate it for a little, but it's not as good as the previous games.

The only reason I buy the Pole Position Club (Vice City) is because it unlocks the Mr. Vercetti outfit.

I never play the missiion that it unlocks, it's a shameful one.

I hate how the United States in the GTA world look like they're just composed of islands. Overall, I like all games except Online. Can't say much about games before GTA III because I never played them nor Advance.

I never liked Ambulance or Taxi missions. Kinda boring.

I used to hate to switch the music station's to talk shows in the old gta's , but when I gaved IV a chance while cruising around LC, I was shocked by the amount of details that went into them in particular. :)

Then I realized that I missed out on a lot of gold humor from the radio's in SA and the others. :(

I actually understand some of the critics points about V but people go so overboard in the way they bash that I feel I have to balance things out.

- I never played any top down GTA
- Never bothered to 100% any GTA
- I'm a big Tommy Vercetti fanboy
- I always try not to do anything bad to innocents/pedestrians in GTA games, even in chases on missions
- I hated GTA IV in my first playthrough because it didn't have some gameplay features that were present in previous titles, but over the time i understood what IV is about and what it intented to achieve, and now i love the game.

- GTA V is very overrated outside this forum

In this Mission Taking in the trash

After getting rid of the enemies and picking up the diamonds I put on IF99 and shake the garbage truck as I drive making it look like the two guys on the back are dancing like strippers

Did this again last night they got freaky xD

Some more confessions...

- I never let other persons, not even my friends, play (GTA) games on my console.

- I have a lot of OCDs when I play a GTA game, but, curiously, this doesn't happen with other games.

- I never change radio station while I drive. This helps me to appreciate more all the radio stations available.

- This one's pretty tough, though: as a kid, during the PS1-era, I preferred Driver and Driver 2 over the 2D Universe GTA games.

- My least favourite GTA game (from the 3D Universe) is GTA: Liberty City Stories. Don't get me wrong, I like it, I just don't think it's as special as the others.

- I always laugh hard at how stupid that GTA: San Andreas' "Freefall" mission is - to be precise, the cutscene where CJ jumps from an airplane to the other. I had a lot of fun playing it, though.
