Alexlecj 423
When looking at the property icon right next to The Camel's Toe casino in Las Venturas, I thought you could buy it and see its interior. I was so excited I even warned my older brother before acquiring it. Turned out I bought a $6000 save file icon hidden behind a loading screen, one block away from the regular one you got from playing story.

Evil empire 2,769
On my first playthrough I had a lot of troubles finding the last hidden package. I made a list of the locations to re-inspect, looked at several guides and spent a very long time in the search notably because I've been fooled by 1 of the guides that situated a package behind the billboards of the snaking road. When I finally found the last package behing a Cedar grove house on the side of the little road (a place not marked in the guide I mainly used) I felt very surprised the error had never been corrected and I felt very happy and relieved since it was probably the only thing I had to do to reach the 100%. iiCriminnaaL 4,424
I've never seen The Lost and Damned's Stubbs' Dirty Laundry as anything beyond additional content outside the story, but now I see it more of an "expansion" or an additional choice of how you (Johnny) lead(s) The Lost MC. Does he take Billy's advice to keep some good connections with politicians and lawyers (which Dave Grossman's random encounter can support too), or burn all bridges between him and them? RedNitrate 21
Never finished GTAIII myself, my PS2 died part way through and I had to watch a friend finish it out on his console. Still need to find time to have a proper play through, but so many games so little time! JetNormalGuy

Algonquin Assassin 51,112
I confess that not being able to modify cars in GTA IV used to really bother me especially with Brucie teasing it, but now I don’t give a sh*t about anymore. Sure it’s nice I guess, but I see it as a luxury, not a necessity like some people make it out to be a bit like character customisation. When I really think about it I only ever modified cars in San Andreas for the sake of it and stored the cars anyway since it was pretty useless as the races didn’t allow for modified cars to be used (lol wtf?). It’s better in GTA V because it’s way more detailed, but I still found myself in a loop where the majority of the cars I modified just sat around in the garage or something. It’s like a novelty that wears off after you go “Wow. I can modify cars. How cool”. Maybe I’ve just played so many racing games where being able to modify cars. Is just the norm and obviously far better than any GTA could muster so I just don’t care for this sh*t anymore. I mean I’ve still lost countless hours in GTA IV so maybe I didn’t miss it that much. gtafaninwest 487
I like the story of the Forelli crime family. They went from being the most powerful criminal organization in LC to being the weakest and smallest of all the crime syndicates in the city. They were the Genoveses/Gambinos/Gambettis in the 1960s-1980s, then the Colombos/Ancelottis of today.
Wayne Kerr 2,696
I get confused by that Broker and Dukes are separate, I keep thinking the whole thing is Broker and I automatically assume Packie and gang live in Broker for some reason At one point I thought too much into what Darko and Niko would have been like had their roles been switched, this may not make sense but I used to think of Darko as Nikos evil twin of sorts, for some reason DR:BUSTA

Jeansowaty 6,329
I think their resemblance was intentional. In a way their personalities have some similarities. "When everything is shown to be sh*t, you make strange choices." Plus Darko took revenge on those that killed his friends. Niko does the exact same. I think Rockstar was trying to make it seem that Darko is like a husk of Niko, Niko would become the same as Darko in the future, something like that. billiejoearmstrong8, iiCriminnaaL, Algonquin Assassin and 1 other

I believe it was to embody Niko’s own hypocrisy and personality flaws as a human. If he couldn’t let go of killing he’d just end up as some junkie loser like Darko. This is why I usually spare him as killing him makes Niko feel empty. Though the execution is oddly satisfying so it’s worth doing just for that. Darko’s strong resemblance to Niko is both a symbolic representation of their inner and outer character traits. billiejoearmstrong8 5,862
There is also the fact that, like, everyone in GTA IV looks the same lol. Must've based all the men off one basic model (with a huge nose) and all the women off another (with a big round face) I guess. But I agree that Niko and Darko's particular similarity is intentional. Americana 6,178
Everytime I play a game set in San Francisco, for example Watch Dogs 2, I always call the location as it was called in Grand Theft Auto: San Andreas. Killing Derrick is the pragmatic choice.. the rewards are obvious.. killing Francis is the emotional choice.. the feel good one but does little for Niko in the long run.. why kill what you can use.. derricks a rat and a wash up junkie degenerate.. he brought it on himself AirWolf359 and billiejoearmstrong8

I love how you make the decision right at the last moment in that case, just depending on moving the sniper scope slightly to the left or right. I still feel the power of it and panic slightly every time lol. Next time just remember that Derrick is a pathetic hypocrite who snitched on his friends to save his own skin, sending one to prison for 20 years, then made you cruelly break him out just to kill him as a defenseless old man because of drug induced paranoia. And once you're in position ready to shoot you can call Francis and get him to pay you double (as a smaller f*ck you to him). Works for me. Also it makes the subsequent funeral mission slightly different (different dialogue and you drive to a different grave site), always worth doing the decisions the other way at least once just to experience the differences.
