Loves GTA
Recently I've been playing games like GTAIV, SR2 and Red Faction Guerrilla with the keyboard exclusively and have gotten used to it for driving. Unless driving on the keyboard is pretty terrible in GTAV I'll stick to mouse and keyboard 100% of the time, though I do have a wireless 360 controller I can use for driving should I want to. REDDICE
Driving, flying, walking etc. using Speedlink Strike FX gamepad PS3 look. Shooting only with keyboard + mouse. For those who have original PS3, PS4 controllers. Does triggers full working on PC or they just have on/off state? This Strike FX have analog trigger but on PC they only work as buttons, and I use x360ce emulator. The trigger have full pressure functionality if you use the right emulator PS3: Motionjoy PS4: DS4windows
CFCA1912
Keyboard+Mouse and a cold Budweiser in my right hand during cutscenes. Best response ever hahaha. Cheers man Can anybody explain me how the hell can people manage to use KB/M and controller for driving? I can only use one of the methods, not both. In the ps2 era, I used kbm to play the GTA games on my PC, but then GTA IV came into place and suddenly I f*cking sucked with kbm, specially at driving which is my speciality. I started playing it with an Xbox controller and my aiming and shooting got a bit worse but my driving improved millions. Tried to use both methods switching to controller when driving but it was too annoying and I couldn't get used to it. So I'm not sure yet how will I play GTA V on the PC. I also had a nice experience on the Xbox 360 with GTA V and the 360 controller, I mastered driving and shooting. But thats only in auto aim lobbies, free aim with a controller = too slow and inaccurate. Specially when playing versus the AI. You get more accurate steering and acceleration You can get that with the Keyboard too, it's just a matter of practice and time.
ItsJustMeSrsly
I honestly don't understand people, who waited all this time for PC version and who is not going to use Keyboard and Mouse! LOL Its just...beyond me! Gamepad is MUCH worse option, its not a matter of preference like some people say and its not a master race, its a cold fact...i know console fan boys it hurts to admit, but you should! Its objective, Keyboard and Mouse is BETTER for games like GTA, no matter what you personally used to better! You can be God using gamepad, but that doesn't make gamepad better option for GTA! For example i know a lot of people, who doesn't like listening to classics like Mozart, Vivaldi, Bach, Wagner and alike and they'd rather listen to R'n'b or Hip Hop 24/7, but does that mean music they listen to is superior to the likes of Mozart or Bach? see that logic? It doesn't matter what you like, there is simply an accepted by everyone fact, that cannot be argued with! Keyboard and Mouse is simply BETTER and needs much less time to adjust to in order to become good in games like this! And in return keyboard and mouse is much worse option for fighting games than gamepad (i hope nobody's dumb enough to argue that...LOL)... Uncle Sikee Atric
I'll be using Keyboard and Mouse mostly, but I will experiment with a wired XBox 360 controller as well, probably save it for racing and flying though.

Geeteeaifive
Guys, please no fanboyism. This is why people think PC gamers are snobs. But we are snobs, once you go pc, u cant go back... ive been there And dont give me that crap about pc cost is higher, when u can build one for the exact price of ps4 that totally wrecks ps4 and it's not just a gaming system. u can do work on it. Make it pay for itself. Can console pay for itself? NO. End of discussion. ItsJustMeSrsly
Michael5074
Just just moved on from PS3 to PC about a month ago. I try using keyboard and mouse, but I'm just not feeling it, even after player Games similar to elements in GTA5 (GTA4 and Max Payne 3). I'll just stick to my PS4 controller instead me too ! I had my PS3 since 2008 and i had 25 games on it including GTA V and My PC was from 2001(don't judge me ) and i just recently upgraded my PC to be able to supposedly run GTA V on Ultra at about 45-50FPS and i still use the PS3 controller and i just recently bought myself a PS4 controller because i was going to Buy a PS4 but i got a sweet deal on I7 with 16GB's of Ram and i couldn't reffuse it !
