I am really really suprised at the replies to this. Obviously 90% of the GTA Forums community are childish and stand by the use of glitches. Something leads me to believe in fact most of these users are under age.

What physical accomplishment is achieved through glitching like this? Let alone actually admitting to using them! Wow.

Most of us don't care about using glitches on GTAO cause as someone pointed out, "GTA is just one big glitch" and it really is.

I could never get a crate drop because Ron's phone call would glitch up and not unlock them, so just to experience the game like everyone else I had to glitch them.

Only a child cares more about what everyone else has, than what said person currently has.

Op I agree with you. Glitching is a bad thing, BUT only if said glitches can give players an unfair advantage. There's nothing wrong with exploiting holes in the games coding if it will make you car look better or something like that.

 

My Spoilerless Phoenix was acquired due to glitching, harmless glitching though. Technically I'm at a disadvantage as well, due to there being no spoiler other players who have a spoiler on their car will have more traction but I honestly couldn't care any less, my Phoenix looks ten times better without a spoiler.

 

There are lots of harmless glitches that have been patched for no logical reason. painting stock rims, the gate glitch and being able to have a NY licence plate are all glitches that have been patched just because R* didn't want us to have that extra bit of fun.

 

However stuff like the money and RP glitches should be patched quicker than they're found to prevent the breaking of the game. The 360 and PS3 versions of the game are getting destroyed right now and due to the lack of up to date technology they're probably never going to be fine again.

Lets face it, unless they do not release GTA VI for some 6 - 7 years (and split it over console generations again), it will only be released on PS4/Xbone/PC so their attention will slowly shift more and more towards these platforms.

Thats what I'm hoping for. As much as I hate to leave all the good games to die with the 360 and PS3 those consoles are outdated by far and would need a major overhaul before online would be stable on those consoles again.

 

However I'm sure there will be good games on XBONE and PS4. NFS has been delayed for nearly 2 years now so I'm thinking that they've developed something good, Ghost have taken over and so far they've been doing their job, Rivals wasn't great but it's better than MW (2012), Personally I hope it's Underground 3 that they've kept covered up.

 

Back on topic. I was last on 360 in September and while it's wasn't as bad then it certainly wasn't good, there were money glitches and there were loads of kiddies doing all sorts of bullsh*t.

I'm fine with all kinds of glitches, even money ones, unless its used against other players I.e GodMode.

 

There's no harm behind wearing a hat and a mask. There's no harm in heaving pearls over Matte paintjobs. There's no harm in the Gate glitch. There's no harm in glitching money because you don't have enough time to get it legitimately and can't buy CashCards for what reason whatsoever. BUT there IS harm in doing said glitch just so you can troll people, doing the GodMode cheat, etc.

 

Rockstar NEED to fix their sh*t. They keep fixing harmless glitches (I'm looking at you, 3D Snaps glitch, Hats/Masks/Glasses All At Once glitch and gate glitch) and start focusing on the bad reps such as GodMode and RP ones. Why are you always trying to ruin our fun in patching peaceful glitches and leave bad ones behind, meanwhile you said you'll never fix harmless ones?

With heists and PC progress transfers of GTA Online on the horizon i cant help but keep thinking about all this illegitimate cash players are earning. It will do nothing but prevent heists from coming out until they can safely remove GTA$.

 

We're also talking about these betting glitches too! Especially these. I have a legit 6.2 million dollars, it's just not the risk to even consider anything and i want to see a community one day that work together again on missions.

 

How is there so many money glitches?

How? Find me a game with currency as important as GTA$ and tell me if there is a money glitch? Fifa? CoD points? Of course not... so why so many in GTA?

Honestly? I think the PC version is being released so the console users can get away from all the hacking and modding. If we could just get some head chesses in the game and watch for them and we start getting rid of their accounts I think that would scare most of them off.

However again the Heists WILL come after PC and PC version is going to be THE cesspool of hackers and modders.
