Can't join friends - Complete Tutorial

i'm not the only one getting this problem, as i've seen posts about it on R*'s support website, with pretty much no answers given.

 

i havent seen it talked about here though

 

so i can join people on my friends list, but there are a couple who i cant join because the game thinks one of us hasnt done the tutorial for some reason.

 

and they're all well above rank 100, so it cant be anything to do with the ranking system. is there some kind of work around this or do we have to wait on R* to fix yet another f*ck up?

I've never had this issue, so I can't really help... but I heard that the Tutorial issue started a few updates ago. I thought they fixed it... did you put in a support ticket with Rockstar?

 

For me, I find it very difficult to join a friend's session.

What I mean is, I accept the invite, and then it says the session is full. So I join a queue. Then it says there is a spot open, so I try to join again. Then it says it's full....

Really bad joining system.

i've actually never heard of that. are you on current gen, or last gen?

 

....also, something else weird that i noticed after getting on just now is that there's still snow

 

why this is weird to me is because there was no snow when i played yesterday

This started with the festive update then R* relesed a update and fixed most of it but some friends including mine can't be joined or join my session. The only way round it i have found is join a mission and have your friends in the same mission then join freemode after the mission. Hope this helps.

how do i go about getting my friends in the mission?

 

do they still get auto-invited to them?

Yes but dont do it like that because you send invites to everyone in the lobby and randoms. Host a mission and go to invite friends and then just invite the friends you want to be in the same session with. Make sure to keep your matchmaking closed or randoms will join.

Yes but dont do it like that because you send invites to everyone in the lobby and randoms. Host a mission and go to invite friends and then just invite the friends you want to be in the same session with. Make sure to keep your matchmaking closed or randoms will join.
