Modders have access to shady stuff. There's this option where you can blow people up similar to what OP described but using other people's names, like for example, xXxMODZxxx uses this special option, instead of saying "xXxMODZxxx killed KILLER1999" it'll say "SkinnyDick420 killed KILLER1999"

How can somebody in Los Santos BLOW ME UP while I'm here in Paleto Bay? There's no way that someone can blow another if they are too far from each other.

You seem familiar with mods. Do you have a menu installed? I do, but I just use it to spawn vehicles and help friends haha maybe sometimes I'd mess with a glitcher or take out a bad griefer. But yeah, the "make player explode player" is too easy and can get the wrong person punished.

I just fly around, using the object menus ect, got a script editor and can make my own scripts so i'm usually just testing sh*t.

Some caveats:

I will NOT report a person with a modified console if they are NOT abusing other players, i.e., they're just in the session changing people's vehicles colors, showing off the different NPC & animal skins, displaying cool props.

I pretty much go after "rape mod" users (BULLIES) and those that make it so that you can't leave the session or defend yourself (because they took your weapons).

 

Some sideline commentary:

A lot of people are giving the OP the business, but the truth is, if someone is making it so that you can't even play the game and you're unable to get away from the session, it becomes frustrating. Then some of us have been through rape in real life and while these are just pixels, the point is that it brings back the feeling of some f*cked up bastard that thinks it's funny to humiliate you by taking over you (your character) and forcing you to partake in something in which you don't want to engage and you can't fight back.

 

Again, it's only pixels, but it causes some f*cked up emotions, digs up very unpleasant memories and makes ME, in particular, want to stick to invite only sessions again. It's unfortunate that the OP didn't have the means to get tangible evidence, but OP is a GTAF member, and although many of us don't see eye-to-eye, I would demolish an outsider for any one of you. Ya heard?

Misleading thread title is misleading. How is it difficult to leave a session? It isn't! Start>Online>Find new session or dashboard it.

That's what I took from it.R*s' always been incompetent. Twice I have email those bastards who have their heads in their asses about modders. The dude jumped into my buzzard made it crash, raped my character, and looped the stripper animation on my character. They were like,"Thank you for contacting us. Your suggestions are appreciated. As in literally everyone was getting bombed so quickly and repeatedly that you were not able to step through the process of exiting the session before the process of selecting the options itself was cancelled because of the bombing.

It isn't when using normal, legitimate weapons and skills. Magically killing everyone in the server other than yourself, repeatedly, doesn't fall under the category of normal.

Only time i sayings get the smart phone out recordings it and open ticket with R¤ and send it.

 

For the last 3 days its getting outta hand with shnooks blowing up the entire lobby over'n'over. 4 outta 8 sessions some wonder punt thinks he/she is clever.

 

If ur caught in endless loop, pull network plug on ps3. Sucks but....

So leaving the lobby fixes the problem huh, Running away is the answer? That obviously was not the case when the cashgrab reign began. Every lobby you went to had someone who was using DNS server codes and it ruined the experience for some people, not me but it still did. You have to report people if you don't you are perpetuating a sickness that if unchecked will go very badly. If you're not punished for cheating, then why not cheat?

Rockstar only read reports and requests if a lot of people contact them with the same problem. It get's noticed. So you being the only one to report this would have had no effect whatsoever.
