This is why people cheat in GTA Online...

If you ever wondered why there are still so many people cheating and getting away with it in GTA Online, here's why (this has been an eye-opener to me).

 

A day or so ago, I was in a public GTAO server, when a player by the name of "AK47headshots_69" (might have been "AK47headshots-69") started continually bombing everyone in the server with some of explosive (i.e. "... bombed you"). It was difficult to leave the session, because he was literally doing it continually--I barely had enough time to exit the session.

 

Obviously impossible to do legitimately in-game, so I submit a full report to R*, and this is what I get back--after ALREADY giving them everything except the "Video/Screenshot Proving the Player in Question is Cheating" because I have no means of recording my sessions or suddenly taking a photograph of the few seconds I was being bombed to crap:

I ran into the same modder twice (not the one you ran into, a different one). First time was up in Paleto; I was in passive mode at the time, he came over, and before I knew it, I was sh*tting money. Had to hard reset my machine. This was around the time people were getting banned for modded money - thankfully none of the money stuck. Second time was a few weeks later; was in my garage, hopped on my bike and took off. Noticed I couldn't select my sawnoff, Knew straight away what it meant - as I was exiting via the pause screen, everyone on the server was killed, and my bike exploded as I went up into the clouds. Upon checking previous players, sure enough, same modder as before.

 

So DO report. Anyone calls you a snitch, just laugh at the dumbasses. As for me; viva la PS4. Don't miss that sh*t anymore.

I think you fail to see nearly every side of this situation. And nothing in your post supports why people actually cheat. Which is like trying to explain why grass grows.

Last night some d*ckhead did this to me, I could not get the character wheel to come up, I could not get my phone to come up, when I pressed Start nothing happened, the only way I could get out of the session was by going to the XMB and selecting Quit Game.

 

If he had of stopped after blowing me up and putting a hotdog penis on my character, I would of been cool and just left the session. BUT NO, he decided he was going to use the rape mod on my character, that's when I informed him that I was using a PVR to capture his actions. He got angry and started continuously blowing me up and adding props to my body which I believe prevented me from leaving the game. Rockstar has the video link already and Sony will have it January 2nd.

 

I'm not against players having modified consoles, I'm against c*cksuckers having modified consoles.

Forget it ALOT of modders and hack/cheaters fans are here you will find no sympathy with most of them. Just pray they move to PC and ruin that version instead. I seriously think that is the only reason R* is selling it to PC to get rid of them on consoles.

A lot of the times this happens faster than anyone can grab a camera or means to provide proof.

 

This one time I was in a race, and this guy was in just a bare-bones stock muscle car, and no custom cars were allowed. He took off and he had some kind of speed hack, because he was halfway done with the race and miles and miles ahead of me within a minute.

Assuming you were on the PS4 cause I think I remember this guy. He sent me a message about my KD 4.4 and asked how I got it. Told him by not being a noob/no skill jet hog he got a bit angry but didn't bothered to come towards me. Anyways took a look at his KD and it was at 96.8. I have a few videos of some cheaters/glitch abusers I should probably forward them to R*.

Some caveats:

I will NOT report a person with a modified console if they are NOT abusing other players, i.e., they're just in the session changing people's vehicles colors, showing off the different NPC & animal skins, displaying cool props.

I pretty much go after "rape mod" users (BULLIES) and those that make it so that you can't leave the session or defend yourself (because they took your weapons).

 

Some sideline commentary:

A lot of people are giving the OP the business, but the truth is, if someone is making it so that you can't even play the game and you're unable to get away from the session, it becomes frustrating. Then some of us have been through rape in real life and while these are just pixels, the point is that it brings back the feeling of some f*cked up bastard that thinks it's funny to humiliate you by taking over you (your character) and forcing you to partake in something in which you don't want to engage and you can't fight back.

 

Again, it's only pixels, but it causes some f*cked up emotions, digs up very unpleasant memories and makes ME, in particular, want to stick to invite only sessions again. It's unfortunate that the OP didn't have the means to get tangible evidence, but OP is a GTAF member, and although many of us don't see eye-to-eye, I would demolish an outsider for any one of you. Ya heard?
