jdwarfer
I never tried it on GTA IV. I couldn't handle it. Now I just don't want to play the game anymore. I'm not really interested by that thing, but I admit it looks great.

Error2k
It's going to look like sh*t. Every ENB look like sh*t. There are few good ENBs for San Andreas or 4 but building are still ugly squares and textures are low quality so it doesn't match. ENB for GTA 5 is just going to be bright sh*t. Game looks awesome already and there is no need to make ENBs for it. Edited December 31, 2014 by quxxo Spider-Vice and Andrius49378
Johan
Honestly I never really enjoyed using ENB on GTA IV.. and V was already a good looking game on PS4 and I'm sure it'll be 50x better on PC, no reason for me to use it.. at least not for another few years. Game looks awesome already and there is no need to make ENBs for it. *sigh* You both are so clueless. GTA SA and IV were never meant to run any HD textures or graphics filters (DUH!). That's why most of them looked too bright in GTA IV... and of freaking course buildings were "still ugly squares" in SA... the game was made in 2004 ffs. They're graphics mods. They don't make the game newer. GTA V on the other hand is in the HD era. It is MEANT to have HD textures and graphics. So how the hell would it look like sh*t with iCEnhancer? RAGE engine has gone through so many changes and updates, too. All the more reason that iCEnhancer will kick ass. EDIT: I was joking everyone. I'm the tester for the mod. resevil2008
Why are they anouncing graphics mods before the game or it's requirements are released? You people don't even know how this game will look like when maxed. I've done some serious sh*t to my GTA IV on PC, maxed + mods. Then I bought V for 360, and except for the textures and anti-aliasing the game looked better to me. It was beautiful AND playable, all these mods add DOF and lots of other sh*t which make it look photorealistic, but really difficult to play. ShazXV
Can the game come out first before we start announcing mods. This is like youtubers asking for likes and subs before showing sh*t in the video. I swear GTA V is just full of f*cking premature congratulators. This game could come out with such a DRM that no mods would ever f*cking work. Just stop this sh*t until the game comes out.
lemonwolf
Its not GTAV but it looks pretty damn good and was able to record it in 4K. I was getting around 50-70FPS but for some reason I was only able to record at around 20. I think it has to do with DX9, thats all I can get even without ENB enabled. I cant wait to start messing around with V sampandmtafan, raburs and LawasDS
SassyVegetable
Obviously the people who think ENB / iCEnhancers made GTA IV look worse are a little worried they wont be able to run simillair mods in GTA V. Jealousy is a terrible emotion. Sorry if i made you mad but comeone now. These mods became popular because they made the game look better, they really do. There's no point of installing a graphics mod if it makes no differance.. ''sigh'' Some people. Lets make a mod that makes the game uglier! Yay, people are actually downloading it too! I guess people want an uglier game then? Some of you really sound like console gamers, they say the same about PC in general : ''No way this game looks better on PC'' Said the console fanboy. ''No way graphics mods make the game look better'' ''Graphics mods make it look like sh*t'' So much denial.. (Maybe you prefer how GTA V looks now over realism) But graphics mod do not look like sh*t. If you cant run it that's fine, I dont have the best PC in the world either. But what is this balony about people claiming these mods are ugly? Maybe a few of them i agree. And who knows what the GTA V graphics mods are going to look like. Edit * Please dont hate, i know you'll probably be frustrated after reading all this. You go and guess why i dont like people in general. Edit 2* All i'm trying to say is, i understand you find a graphics mod unnecessary because the game looks great already. Good point but graphics mods are great too. Alot of them are not ''sh*t'' Edited January 1, 2015 by SassyVegetable Koger, lemonwolf, itrpatrick and 1 other

It's not the "mods ruin games argument", really. It's the "ENB isn't for everyone" argument. I prefer to keep the intended art design intact, because that's what immerses me in a game. Whatever feel or tone it's trying to convey, I want to feel it. Graphics help this immensely. So while ENBs objectively make certain things better, sharper and prettier to look at in "screenshot" form, It's not necessarily something everyone would want to play with all the time. I'm sure my reasoning is just one of many. I recall there being a thread about ENB in this section from a month or two ago. There were similar conversations going on there. The above screenshots in spoilers were taken at a downsampled 4k resolution. Considering how old the game is and how sh*t of a PC port we got, IV holds up insanely well. Again, all things considered. Don't use heavy resource mods like iCEnhancer, with shaders, and additional graphical effects. Use minimalism, that was made to look good, for example RealityIV 2.0 by DKT70 - it's based on timecycle, so it just changes numbers in files, so how it can make FPS drops? Pictures below contain custom cars, and here we have very big problem, because too big file called vehicles.img, makes problems with traffic. I mean taxi bug, of course you have something called taxi fix, but it didn't help me, textures disappear, game leaks memory... Same thing we can observe in GTA V on old gen consoles... i hope it will not exist in modded PC version of GTA V. RealityIV 2.0: French rivera map mod: And what is your opinion now? You won't get huge FPS drops, so i really recommend to try it on your own. Edited January 1, 2015 by sampandmtafan

I’m just choosing to ignore the ignorant a** clowns in here who have clearly never used a pc before but you will be able to mod gtav so don’t worry. I’ve found ways to decompile game files for every steam game I’ve wanted to modify. But thats only in the worst case if they end up doing that. I totally agree with you. Modding the game for me is just a hobby and about pushing the limits of the game when I’ve become tired of it. And after playing through GTAV about 10 times already, I’m ready to start seeing what else can be done with it.

I won't deny those shots look good, but I could take some beauty shots in game too, in motion though I believe the game has not held up well. It is possible to use enb while maintaining the atmosphere, everything about the mod is customizable, granted though very few people have actually managed to do it. ItsJustMeSrsly
Will it look like zhit because it'll lack good features or because your white PC won't handle it? It will look like sh*t, because GTAV by default has a specific a little cartoony and a little exaggerated vibe about it, which makes it special, and which graphic enhancing tools tend to only ruin...Its not always good to turn games into photorealistic life-like experience... It's going to look like sh*t. It will look amazing... come on. They made GTA IV go from this: to this: And GTA V already looks like this: So it will probably look like this: ...It looks dull and washed out! Compared to GTAV's equivalent of LA, real life one is not as colorful and vibrant, and that is the main reason why a lot of people don't like idea of turning this game into photorealistic experience! That would take away special feel, that this game has...Seriously real life is boring...
