Lots of people have upgraded to the new version of GTA V (good for ya'll, much jelly here!) and that's great and all, but I was wondering if no change should be happening on the forum here. The playerbases are divided across platforms, if I'm correct? And not only that, there are many differences between the versions, some big, some small. Just wondering why we don't have separate sections for the PS3, PS4, Xbox 360 and Xbox One. On several occassions I have acquired information from the forum here which turned out didn't apply to my version of the game. No big deal, but a bit confusing and inconvenient at times! Obviously, it's not up to me. But if it was, I'd create GTA:O sections for each platform so players per platform can discuss their version of the game and arrange things together for people on that platform. And just leave a general section (like the one we're in right now) for subjects that affect us all. And shared patch notes and whatnot. Just a thought. And to everyone using PS3/PS4/360/XB1 tags in their thread and post titles and content, yay you!EDIT: Perhaps at least a divide like in the thread title here, current and 'last' gen, since there's really only versions, no? But having a section for each would save people lots of time and avoid misunderstandings. Girish Posted December 31, 2014 Share Posted December 31, 2014 To separate both generations all the sub-boards would also need to be duplicated, which means a lot of unnecessary boards. Last gen will be become quite dead in the following months so there's no real need for it. The PC section on the other hand will have to be expanded in the near future. uNi from this topic.
