I'd love for a modder to give me some cash. Not that I don't have everything I want already. I do. There's just little things that I'd like to do, to make my online experience better. For instance I really hate that when I call the mechanic for a car, the list says Murietta Heights, Weazel Plaza 101 and Unit 2 Poplar.... In that order. My main place is Weazel Plaza and it should be on top. That's a simple change, but it'd cost me a mountain of money. With modded money, I'd have no problem doing it. Also there's a few things like in my racing garage. I'd love to experiment with the looks of those cars (They're the ones I'm going all out on, looks wise). It's just expensive to do. If someone gets modded money and use it for something like that, I really have no problem with it. It's things we should have been able to do from the beginning anyway. Problem is: I never met many modders. I saw the Ferris Wheels at that town square, but I never ran into the ufos. Back in November 2013, some kind soul modded me 85 million. He was from this forum too. A real good guy IMO. I wish I could run into someone like that again. Preferably a hot naked chick like the OP met.

Any gains of more than $1 million are flagged up as dodgy since the last patch. When I've seen modders giving cash on YouTube, the modder physically drops it and the player getting the cash has to walk over it to pick it up. I can see how it looks dodgy and the player receiving the modded cash has it wiped as it now requires a deliberate act to pick-up modded cash. A year ago, you just had to be in the same session and, without doing anything, could be gifted cash. Therein lies the difference and I guess why players are being punished.

 

Best thing to do, if a modder gives you cash, is pull your ethernet cable out before the game saves.

That, or hard shut down your console by pulling out the cable, just in case you're using a wireless connection and the router is too far.

Hard shut down whilst the disc is still spinning? Not the best of ideas.

Keep in minds, the sad people trolling around with these mod-menu's are just people who use a mod menu someone els created. Acting all tough while most of them don't know the slightest bit about how the mod menu's really work.

 

Just like how the creators of these mod menu's never succeed in keeping it safe from the public. Always causing it to leak over to douchebags who then use it to grief/troll lobbies and make people not want to play this game anymore.

 

If just the people who created these mod menu's along with a few buddies would have them, it wouldn't be any problem. The problem is that this mod menu is now all over the place on last gen for every troll to grab.

 

The only kind modders i've ever met, are a few from this forum who give people vehicles for nothing in return. Every single one i see online has douchebag written all over it.

Have fun deleting a 2nd character where you've spend days on leveling up and grinding $ for, along with its cars, apartments ect. Really a great solution you got there.

Best thing you can do if you find yourself with a modder in a lobby, is just to find a new session. No harm done.

That's where you're wrong, the menus weren't private, they were released publicly but only for single player at that time, a few people have a private bypass that allowed you to use them online, one person started selling it for $50 with the knowledge that it would be leaked, 15 minutes later people bought it and posted the link to download.

Yeah dude it's not about being ungrateful. It's the fact that I get the repercussions and the modder most likely nothing. I was going to report myself, don't ever remember the gamer tag of the modder.

And it begins...the modders that is. Had a guy in freemode who killed everyone on the map at the same time, most went passive after that but a few others didn't and he continued to kill them. Someone said to report him and then he left lol. I'm sure he won't be the last though.
