Heists and Rockstar Social club crews

do you have to be apart of a rockstar social club crew to do a heists or is it just like any mission where you can hook up with other player

my guess is you would have to be in a crew....

R* said in a Q&A that you can simply go to your planning room and invite other players to join your heist. This isn't recommended as most randoms are idiots, but you get the picture.

 

Although I would recommend joining the social club, you get one of the best Sports Cars for free, and I also believe you get a discount at Ammu Nation

Most likely not. The only guaranteed requirements are (so far):

you must be level 12 or higher

you must own a high end apartment (at least for planning the heist)
