The only heist I'm aware of is the one on my wallet. Slowly putting money aside for an xbone/PS4 and next gen GTA (might get PS4 because grass and stuff).

Off Topic: I activated mine 3 weeks earlier to get Batman Arkham Asylum as Game of the Month, now I have opened up an entire new Game Series to play (and have less finishing Origins)

 

On Topic: R* could not have quashed hype for Heists anymore than claiming they would be the first Update for all Consoles, not delivering on this (Surprise!) and then releasing a Trailer out of the blue to say they would be coming Early 2015 (Read As: Time frame 1st Jan to 1st April).

 

Even better the Q&A the next day only said they were "Confident" Heists would be ready for Early 2015. If they think they might miss the mark, they will probably drop another (pre-prepared) DLC in to keep interest in the game and delay them until April/May.

 

I think the Forum has come to release the only Hype can be when Heists arrive as so far nothing R* has said about them has come to fruition.

Well according to the YouTube Heists trailer, 1,492,443+ people are still hyped for Heists.

I'm not sure if I'm the only one thinking this, but where did they "hype" for heists go? Before they were revealed a while ago, a lot of people kept bringing them up, saying they'll arrive one day. Then when Rockstar finally showed us some of the heists and the content in the GTA Online Heists Trailer, it built a lot of hype and excitement. Now I see almost no one talking about them. I don't understand. For so long, people were talking about heists, whether it be in the form of jokes or actual speculation, rumors, etc., then a few days after the trailer was revealed, just about all of it went away.

 

Because they have failed to deliver multiple times on this. Everything people had to say about heists, have been said for over a year. And since the release can be in goddamn april for all we know, there just is no point in discussing it that much. If the release date was next week, everyone would be talking about it right now.

1) Enter Lobby with 3 other mongs who usually wear pogo masks or look like a 1990's TV movie female assasin character.

 

2) Take out guards

 

3) Break safe / deposit boxes

 

4) Lose the cops

 

5) Drive back to Lesters

 

4 out of 5 steps sounds like 90% of the contract missions already there.

 

That's why I don't give a chit about Heists.

That's what I feared at first, but what we've seen until now includes ambushing a Merryweather patrol, getting someone out of prison and invading a motherf*cking aircraft carrier. Doesn't seem they will be like normal crappy missions to me.

"Early 2015" killed any hype that the trailer might have given me about heists. It's obviously not coming out in January because they would have announced if it was only a month away, wouldn't expect it until April at the soonest so why get hyped for something that is months away?

I think they release to PC 27 January then a patch to fix it it (Valentin DLC) then heist..... thats my 2 cents

Unless we can be stealthy and control how we approach our heists(with it actually making a difference), it'll be a run and gun and pick up money bag, go to Lester's. Just like in sp where successfully being completely stealthy is impossible and sh*t is scripted. It's cool that there are new locations added for the "jobs", they might not be boring or bad, but I don't think they'll be fundamentally different. Hope I'm wrong though.

The only time I will be hyped for heists is when there is a solid release date for them. Until then, everything R* says about them e.g "heists will be released early 2015" is BS to me.

In case of movie trailers its about 6 month from trailer premier to movie premier and hope to thats unholy that this is not the case

I have my shiny new PS4 now for a month. I claimed my free two weeks PSN+ and played GTA online. Bought the Dukes, Kraken and Dodo. But it is the same game as on the PS3, with better graphics. First person is a gimmick. Nice for getting a virtual blowjob, nothing more.

 

I did buy a years subscription for PSN+, but I will activate it when heists come out. Everything new is beter than grinding the same stuff over and over again. I have 28 million GTA$ legit without cash cards. I do not need the cash. It is the sence of acomplishment, that I can beat the system and be a kingpin.

Heists were something to moan about when we were frustrated with how boring the game is.

 

Don't worry, we'll find something else to moan about promptly.

Do not spend all your earnings on GTA HD, you will feel like you've been raped by Rockstar themselves. Nowhere near enough carrot-dangling features on PS4 to be worth trading up.
