Howdy, random question for everyone.

So you can transfer your gta online character from ps3 to ps4, what would happen if you play on your ps3 again and log on to gta online, would you still be able to play as normal?

Yeah.

 

But the accounts aren't linked. Your progression remains untouched.

 

So if I'm level 90 on PS3 and I transfer to PS4 and get to level 100, my PS3 character will still remain at 90. The same rules apply to stats and currency.

Yeah, anything will be just fine.

 

All progress you do on PS3 after your transfer, won't be saved on PS4.

 

It's like an alternative universe.

Yes you can transfer from ps3 to ps4.

 

Your progress will not be recorded on ps3.

 

Example: you're rank 100 and transfer progression. You play on ps4 and rank to 110 but your progression on ps3 will stay 100.

Hmmmm very interesting. Tha k you all for the replies. I only ask as i just ported to ps4 and tonight however i find myself watching tv as i dnt want to hog the tv from the missus haha. So iv aquired a smaller tv to play the old ps3 on

Actually one other question, since in li ked to the rockstar social club what will happen with career progression, i assume it'll just link the ps4 updates and ignore ps3

In the Social Club site you can choose which platform to display, so you could be playing the game in all of them and check your game progression for each one from there.
