How to find a Lower Population Session/Lobby (GTA V, PS4)

While searching for the answer on my own to my question, I noticed a bunch of forums/threads dedicated to trying to find higher population servers. However, I (at this point in time) prefer lower population sessions (less than 10) as I rather do jobs/things on my own.

 

This post is also on behalf of those that "want to get away from it all" or "want to be left alone".

 

Regardless of my reason(s) my question is how can I find a low population lobby as quickly as possible? My only option is (at the moment that I know of) is to keep hopping sessions and hoping for the best. Is there a better way to do this?

 

Is there also a way to pick a "lobby" or a solo instance of GTA Online ?

You can select solo session from the single player online menu.

Ya don't hit square to load online. Let the story mode load and then go to the online tab of the pause menu. Go down to play online and you can choose to jump into a solo or invite only session. I preferr this method because its so much faster to load and get into the free roam session. Then I use my ifruit to join missions

No they cannot
