I know that dynamic range is not near or far objects, I wanted to tell you what I managed for and it's not what you said "to destroy dynamic range"

 

I am still studying, studying math in many places with different ways or types

I am trying to join College of Engineering/Graphics section

 

Need to ask you what are you studying to get this experience in this type of graphics

I didn't study this field in order to learn this stuff, I began ENB modding when it just came out 7 years ago; learnt to program when I was a kid actually so found it particulary easy to find a way into HLSL/GLSL. However programming as a job is nothing for me so I don't study anything IT related. The math needed for shaders like matrix/vector math is 50% high school math, 50% self taught.

Yes never mean it as a job, I am 15..

And for the many ENB versions, I was just getting better ideas every time so I couldn't stop, you can compare post process.

SA_DirectX Update: I edited all timecyc under SA_DirectX. Almost finished work on the lighting shader.

You are NOT allowed to post an image that has been modified by any sort of editing software (Photoshop, GIMP, Paint.Net, Inkscape to name a few). You can only modify an image for promoting purposes if you post the unedited picture as well!

 

 

@Topic: managed to do some sort of detail mapping with ReShade. May try on ENB, where it won't move with camera when I use worldspace position instead of screenspace.

Back in business, yo!

 

Is it a texture? No, it is a raytraced water surface, with real waves! It's looking awful atm but the rest is just work, adding refraction, proper coloring and so on. Unfortunately my free time doesn't allow me to continue on this right now, but next week for sure.

@Marty. Can you also add screen space reflection for the water?

 

I want to but it's very hard to do and probably slow.

Reminds me of demoscenes water, that's cool. Did you try to just apply some vertex displacement on the game's water instead?

If it's ray marched, you could add foam. Pretty easy to do.

Well I cannot do anything to the original water so I removed it completely by setting the alpha channel to 0 in the timecyc (water behaviour should still be there) and rendered this surface artificially. I actually got foam working but I didn't like it, clean water surface looks better imho.

Anything on iCEnhancer or game modding at all?

About modding, not much. Very much busy with work but I have something coming that even you might like a lot ^^ - If I ever have time.

Now you got me hyped, damn. But work is more important, sure. Damn fine job you are delivering with Brigade and Octane render. Wish you success with your projects :)

 

@Topic: Physical based skydome. No Mie scattering for sun though because godrays just look cooler (and are faster...). I need to tweak a lot though as it kills the fps right now.
