What exactly is the project?

 

Oh sorry. The current idea is a "San Andreas" on Unreal Engine 4, multiplayer support and mod support for the future, simplier implementation of most recent graphics and networkabilities...you name it.

 

I strive for a project everybody can take part of. It shall be free with server support, like any other modern game. Currently I'm more of a 3D artist but I'd like to team up with other game devs who like to spent sparetime and the motivation to learn aspects of creating an open world based on the Unreal Engine 4. So now there is more the learning-factor and later, depending on different aspects, there might be the possibilty to create a completely new independent game. But that's just a dream and still far away for me.

For now I want to bring back the GTA San Andreas flair and fun to the community on a modern game engine, with old assets but new graphics and support for everything that is and will come in future.

I hope that explains my keynote

You should open a new thread to discuss it further, because this is just a showroom for screenshots and other media.

I'm doing UE4 tutorials also with similar idea in mind but I don't if I have time to continue. There was already a similar Unit project but it was discontinued; maybe for legal issues.
