Do you think heists will be farmable?

Just because a company puts out good products doesn't alleviate them from scum tactics and f*cking over their consumers. However, Rockstar isn't even close to being that bad when it comes to the gaming industry.

There should definitely be a 2-hour cool down time. This could be realistically fine, lay low after a heist.

With a heist payout that may be hundreds of thousands of dollars, do you think that players will be given the opportunity to replay them for more profit, or do you think that Rockstar will implement some sort of limit that would prevent another "Rooftop Rumble Farm Era" and encourage players to buy more kesh kurds?

The fact that someone has to ask this question (the question the OP is asking) just proves that R* is greedy.

My few thoughts.

 

R* have already stated they want people to complete each Heist multiple times in varying roles: Read As: We want to be able to say we are introducing more Unique Gameplay than we really are (I doubt each role is going to be so drastically different it will feel like a new Heist each time).

 

Result: Will no doubt be able to replay Heists and receive a similar Payout (or the incentive to complete them again and take advantage of the differing perspective R* say you will get from performing a different role in each Heist will be diminished)...No doubt based on SP, there will be a cool off period of sorts.

 

HOWEVER, it is R*, I suggest you play Heists for enjoyment and not money as equated out, I doubt you will be earning more GTA$/hour than current options if that is your thing.

Making money is actualy easy and free dlc is better then payed dlc

With call of duty for an example

Buy all dlcs to actualy get the full game you pay atleast 60 usd i beleve

Of course im not gonna stop you to go and buy some milions of ingame money...but yea...for having the full experience...the game is cheaper this way for me

Guess everyone forgot about job points. Those were implemented for heists. After heists we will have to do more missions to gain JP to be able to do heists. You can't farm regular missions so I don't see why we would be allowed to farm what will be the highest paying mission(as long as rockstar doesn't f*ck up the payouts).

Acquiring enough JP will be real easy, simply do missions like Blow Up III where you can call for your Buzzard on the way to the docks to blow up the cars then fly back to the destination point without any police attention. Then repeat as necessary.

LL there ain't no point in arguing with these simps, some folks are just never satisfied. People don't know how good they got it with this game, just no idea at all. R* can just as easily followed in EAs footsteps and charge out the ass and come out with GTA every year, watering the product down and charging so much for DLC. The forum is place for people to voice their opinion in texts. Whatever it is, be it negative or positive.

 

Your question above basically has been answered.

 

They have paid for this game. They are Rockstar's clients. They have the rights to complain with any sensible reason.

 

Getting angry and selling the game back is not constructive. You should rather be thankful to the complainers who have given their feedbacks direct/indirectly to Rockstar for them to reflect and constructing the series into a better shape, instead of saying "Thank you, Rockstar. No problem, take all my money, Rockstar" or stay quiet which is a typical fanboyism attitude like what you do.

 

P.S: I never said Rockstar giving us sh*t. It's you who took it literally.

thats all fine, voice your opinion all you want, constructive criticism is fine, I have issues here and there but what are we, like a year into the game?

 

and people literally come here to just diss blindly, R* greedy? cockstar? I mean come on, I know the members who criticise constructively you can tell by their mature approach and reason.....but what I don't get are the ones who come here, to the online section on a multiplayer game they supposedly "don't play anymore" to talk crap amongst those that was discuss and do actually enjoy it...

 

ive written to R* on the feedback quite a few times actually, most things that effect me have been solved, ive never experienced that with any other game, little things like your licence plate changing suddenly make R* a sh*t company? thats the kind of ridiculous things ive seen said...

 

I get it some people think its sh*t or worse than vice city, san an, gta 4 whatever but why come here everyday to say the same sh*t? thats absurd...

 

I liked saints row 1-2, didn't like 3 or 4 but to go the the saints row forum where people love it and make a little profile, make a signature that shows my game stats, have a dp from the game, have a user name related to the game then start cussing it out constantly is a bit of wasted time...

Missions like RR are a walk in the park, but heists is going to be far more difficult. Missions don't require great teamwork like heists will. If one person badly screws up their end, then it could fumble the whole heist and cost everyone time and money. Either way if you get the right team together, it should be a good source of income. That's the reason people used to farm RR. I'm so pumped for heists!

If GTA Online is an MMO, then look at Heists as the average MMO's dungeons.

 

Large, instanced mission for multiple players, good loot, and with a lockout timer.

A little bit off-topic but I think the crew leader choosing the cut is dumb. I mean I'm not gonna play with a bunch of randoms, and I don't expect my friends to jip me, but still. If it's a four man job, why not just cut the whole thing so everyone gets 25%?

 

Are you the leader potentially risking YOUR money out of YOUR pocket? No? Then you get a lower cut. If it succeeds, you get pure profit. If you don't succeed, you lose nothing.

That leader? If you succeed, their cut has to both pay what they put in AND be a profit worth risking it for. You failed? They LOSE the money THEY put in.

 

Of course this only applies if the speculated risk system is an actual thing on release.

 

Edit: It could also bring in a new element to the game: Notoriety.

 

Make a name for yourself as a competent heister and you'll recieve more heist contracts with a higher cut from people looking to have a higher chance of success.

I do not mind to front the money. 100-200 k$ is not so hard to come by as people think. If you not spray and pray rockets, sticky's and blow up PV's, that is. Just be a good business man / woman.

 

Every dlc cost me a few millions. I am willing to blow a million gta$ on heists, no sweat. What does worry me is that if I play normal missions with randumbs, I am usually the last one standing who completes the mission. A lot of players rush in and get themselves killed. Or blow up the documents. Same with survivals.

 

A lot of griefers sabotage the mission. If griefers would know that you would lose 300k$, that would be irresistable for every douchebag. So what I would welcome is a rep system. The heist leader can select participants based on their rep. Bad rep = no heists or low cut.

I think the heists are farmable if you have a good crew or group of friends. With a good group, I usually get through Pacific Standard in about an hour. That's $250,000 + the money earned through the setups per run.

 

But if you are doing heists with randoms, then no, they aren't a good money farm then.

I once made 550 000 in 2 houres minus the upfront cost of the pacific standard job..every prep and the heist played on hard

 

Most important thing thus to remember is the fact that one can earn 300 000 as a member of a good crew in 2 houres(unless youre the leader you also get payed for every prep being completed)

To say heists are farmable is almost an understatement when compared with anything available atm

Grinding the potshot playlist doesnt even let you earn 120 k per minute.

sure it requires you to put some efford into paking friends but once you found some youre good.
