Will GTA V receive an In-Game Benchmark System?

Personally an In-Game Benchmark System would benefit me a lot. It would make testing the game much easier and quicker than using e.g. Geforce Shadowplay to see if your FPS is good. Rockstar should really have a feature such as this in GTA V on PC, especially because it will be a demanding game.

I think it will have one like GTA IV although i've never found that feature in any game i've played to be of any use. I'd much rather get the perfect settings manually as i feel the Benchmark tool can't do that for me.

Probably, as the IV one relied on just a prerecorded Video Editor clip.

If R* implemented a benchmark system in gta iv i'm sure they will atleast attempt to do it in gta v. Although I am losing hope when it comes to R*. Getting the feeling they are not going to do anything for PC if they do not have to.

It is like the GTA IV thing where you can go into your settings in the game and see what your FPS is on different settings. In-Game meaning you do not have to use programs outside the game.

Probably a street full of cars and peds from various perspectives, maybe with one or another random event like an explosion or a crash.

_Yakuza, I have a GTX 680 2GB. I expect to run GTA V max settings 40-60fps. Why do you ask?

That is a sweet ass card. I have a GTX 770, so that is like the GTX 680. 40-60fps you say, that is about right. If i don't hit atleast 45fps on max i will settle down with 30fps locked. This is why i like benchmarks to be in game, enables you to test your rig easily.

Well GTA IV was full of bugs, and its benchmark system also. So I hope they did a better job this time, with all the extra time;)

Yes, most probably.. considering the game is well optimized..

What would you like to see for the benchmark. Personally i would like to see a more cinematic view point of los santos but then it wouldn't exactly be useful to the user fps wise.
