FultonGameZ
So, a lot of people on this forum have been complaining about how "dumbed down" GTA V is compared to the older games, and I personally agree, so I created an idea for difficulty settings to appeal to both casuals and hardcore gamers. This is how it would work if added to V: Easy: 125% health, 75% damage from enemies, increased Special Ability meter, cops are stupid (like older games) along with enemy AI. Default aim mode: Assisted Aim - Full. Vehicles take even more damage to destroy. During missions, slightly less enemies will spawn. If you fail any mission (except maybe Bury the Hatchet) on this difficulty level, no offense, but you suck. Normal: Pretty much the same as normal GTA V. Default aim mode: Assisted Aim - Partial. Cops are a little stupider - the vanilla GTA V cops are now on Hard difficulty, not Normal. Hard: 75% health, 125% damage from enemies, decreased Special Ability meter, cops are the same as they were before, enemy AI is slightly smarter. A few more enemies will spawn in some missions. Vehicles take less damage to destroy. Default Aim Mode: Free Aim - Assisted. Very Hard: 60% health, 150% damage from enemies, no Special Ability, cops are even more OP than in vanilla GTA V, enemy AI is very smart and will try to actively flank you. Enemy spawn count is increased in a lot of missions. Vehicles don't take much damage to destroy - even less than IV. Default Aim Mode: total Free Aim. Also, there a Handling option in the Gameplay settings, letting you choose between V-style handling (arcade) and IV-style handling (realistic). V-style handling will be the default. FultonGameZ
Oh yeah, I'll add a thing about checkpoints: Easy: Slightly more checkpoints Normal: Same Hard: Reduced checkpoints - no mission has more than 2/3 and short missions dont have any Very Hard: No checkpoints - the way it was in the 3D Era
